You are making an assumption and you should not assume anything about what I might say as I might surprise you.

I am sorry for your bad experience but as we say in the states...S#!% Happens.

And by the way...since I have been all over Japan....as well as been to the Japanese F-15 Assembly sites...as Japan builds it's own F-15's....and have seen your Special Forces in action....I know Japan has a lot to offer Militarily.

    Continued....

What happened according to my Chinese PLN source was that they were ordered to send a sizable force towards Japan and the disputed Islands....but the Chinese Naval Leadership said to the Communist Party....this is NOT a good idea.

The Naval Leadership tried to tell the Communist Leadership that even sending a relatively large Naval Force in and around both the Islands and Japan would place the entire Chinese Naval Force at serious risk from a combination of Japanese Air Force Attack Planes, Japanese Anti-Ship Missiles, Japanese Naval Units....and of course the massive U.S. Naval Presence all over the Pacific.

He said when they got there the absolute WORSE THING HAPPENED.....the U.S. Navy PAID THEM NO ATTENTION!!! LOL!!!

He said....It was like....there we are...sailing toward Japan and U.S. Forces with the sole purpose of for the FIRST TIME....being taken seriously by Japan and the United States Navy's and Military and they IGNORED US!!!

Thats a known japanese method at the momemt to ignore china. we just send our coast guatd to push their ships away if they come close to Senkaku. I dont see China as danger. They aren't stupid. They just use it to gain internal strength. the leadership would not risk war with japan.

as i said, i dont hate usa. but i react when my nation is belittled. and you sure noticed i did not start the insults

I am not one to pass judgment upon who said what first or who is at fault....as when someone insults me I just let it bounce of and continue to post about the FACTS.

I think you might help yourself by doing the same.

Japan and the United States are intrinsically tied both economically and Militarily and it is a fact that Japan does depend upon U.S. Military Forces.

This is of course because of the U.S. written Japanese Constitution.

But after almost 70 years it is time for Japan to come out of it's shell.

One area of contention I do have is how some Japanese Men treat Japanese Women and I know this kind of thing happens all over the world including in the U.S.

But in Japan....any High Ranking Executive seems to think they can get away with a variety of Sexual Harassment on a level that would never be allowed in the U.S....as well I have seen some Large Corporate Executives treat lower ranked employees as if they were slaves making them work on projects 24/7 and giving them unrealistic amounts of time to finish their work.

Such Executives Fear Me....because they understand who and what I am....but I have found if I defend anyone...when I leave these people end up being fired or worse...Black Balled from getting a job.

So because of this I travel to Japan often to check up on certain people.

Our relation with our women is ambivalent. There are things that are bad but also others that are better than USA. Our women have a much more protected life. Many have an excellent education but later chose to stay at home and live a traditional life. On the other side we have lots of women in jobs considered male jobs in USA.
You may know most of our train conductors are women for example.

We also have lots of powerful women in our history. One is Empress Jingu:

There are many others as well.

Also if you travel Japan you know most employee are very loyal to their corporations and the corporation for them. Of course thats not always the case but in general we can be happy.

I am VERY aware of the protective concepts specific to women by Japanese Men but in my opinion this goes sometimes too far.

There is a MASSIVE NUMBER of Japanese Americans living in the United States and these people have embraced their U.S. Citizenship and the majority act in a very different non traditional manner.

So when I am in Japan I notice the difference as in the U.S....the Japanese Family MOM...seems to be the one in control of Financial Planning and I have laughed my ass off watching a Japanese Friend of mine be smacked around by his 4 foot 10 inch wife for staying out late gambling...as I am sure I don't have to explain to you the Japanese love affair with Gambling.

I´m aware of that. But you should also not forget that our women role does also include protection. From old times on women are there to be the last line of defense. Do you know Tomoe Gozen?

We had very skilled and honorful female warriors.

The United States is a massive entity upon multiple levels.

The U.S. has a $17.7 Trillion Economy and the the #2 Wold Economy is China at about $6 Trillion.

Now think about this....China under reports it's population by about 400 Million People which means China has a population of about 1.7 Billion People.

The U.S. Population is about 320 Million.

Thus the U.S. with a population about 1/6th of China's Population has an Economy about 3 times larger.

Or even older ...our Queen Himiko. Himiko ruled Japan before it became an empire. Many believe she is what would be later called the Amaterasu omikami sungodess. There is not much left of scources about Himiko in Japan because it was almost 3000 years ago but we have foreign scources. The empire of China tried to get into contact with Japan and send diplomats. They did travel Japan and when tehy came back to China did say they meet only happy people there...a gigantic palace where Queen Himiko resides. She almost never shows herself to the people and let her brother announce her laws. They were lucky to meet her and describe her as extreme beautiful and wise. But also as powerful witch who uses magic to to get the support of her people.

All that are things we can be proud for. Japan has an aciant culture and what makes it so great is, that it evolved in those 3000 years. I can still understand concepts, symbols that are 3000 years old, simply because i share those roots. I may not be able to express 100% what i try to say in english but i hope you understand what i mean. We have a unbroken history as nation till the day of Himiko. An unbroken line of emperors.

One of the Great Respects I have is in Japanese Metallurgy and sword making since weapons of all kinds is something I am well trained and experienced in.

Japanese Samurai Swords were metal folded many many times and achieved a hardness, durability and flexibility unmatched by any European based swords.

I am very adept at Fencing and a variety of Martial Arts that employ ancient weapons and I find these swords very user friendly and efficient.

However I have an issue with some of the claims by various Martial Arts Masters Chinese, Japanese and others in that they teach that a persons Chi must be accessed to be able to strike an opponent or target with force that is greater than the Human Body alone can generate.

But you see I know that in reality...F=MA

I do Kendo...and let me explain it to you. I believe you can explain it with adrenalin. When humans are in much stress or fear or desperate they do generate enormous levels of power. I think that descrbes it best

I am a very well trained and experienced practitioner of a wide variety of Martial Arts and Western Skills and it is true that under great stress a persons body will release a great amount of adrenaline....but this can have just as many problems as benefits.

I am 6 foot 1 inch and 225 to 230 lbs. I am in top physical conditioning and I have a great deal of muscle mass on my body.

I can perform a straight inline boxer punch at a Human Form Target and generate 1700 PSI...Pounds per Square Inch Force upon the strike.

I have spared with many Masters and the very best they could strike was at 900 psi.

I think this, above all else, is why culture is important. Recognizing and respecting your roots, whether good or bad, is the key to moving forward. Very interesting stuff posted here that I was not aware of. You've piqued my interest.

The fact of the matter is that the force generated by a punch, strike or kick is specific to the Mass of the Fist arm or leg and shoulder along with hip movement multiplied times Acceleration of Velocity.

I also know from experience that a 5 foot 4 inch Master as skilled as he might be when performing a strike upon a vital point or nerve or joint is hindered if the person the Master is striking has muscle, sinew, thick bone or angle defending against such a blow.

What Japanese Masters are efficient at is their extensive study of using swords in the most lethal and energy efficient way possible.

They learned long ago that a lighter sword used and directed at specific body points allows the warrior to conserve energy for other attackers.

I´m happy that this interests you. If you have specific questions just ask me and i can help you to learn about it and send you scources. Himiko is a very special person in history. She gorged basicly an empire from many tribes, created unity and lead to the first emperor Jimmu. She forged our empire not with war but people started to follow her out of free will. Something that the chinese did see as witch craft.

I do Kendo since i´m 5 years old. Im sucesful in learning the way. I don´t want brag with my sucess because as you know you always can learn and each competition is a lesson.

In regards to America, we are ridiculously young in terms of our culture and ridiculously forceful in our own personal nation and our outward actions in the world theater, so we have much to learn about how to govern as a whole. However, just me saying this, I'm quite sure I'm going to take huge criticism for saying this.

Even though nations such as China are largly oppressive of individuality, I don't think they came to be that way simply overnight...they have a long and colorful history that far exceeds that of America as well and I think that history is a good indication of how a nation moves forward and even how it arrived at it's current state in the present. To ignore history is to ignore fact and truth in my opinion. This is why I think Americans neglect to admit certain truths...they don't admit their own history.

Again, good or bad, you must admit those things that shape modern culture. We are a young nation by any standard of the world so hopefully this will be a lesson quickly learned, to accept history and improve upon our past's good events and to prevent our past's bad events. Otherwise, we are doomed.

    Peace my friend.

Considering that you have army bases on every continent except Antarctica, and in most all countries, maybe the map should be [America] and [American pseudo-colonies].

If you listened to my government you might be under the impression that we actually are a US colony. They're constantly talking our relationship up, saying that we're your greatest ally and we owe the security of the Asia-Pacific to you, sending Australian to their deaths and using the threat of imprisonment to steal the property of our citizens - to fight for your interests in the Middle East, etc.

Hell, actual protectorates don't even do that much sucking up.

I believe it is ok to have some animosity between our nations but to forget that when important things must be done.

IU good example for that was our Hayabusa Mission which send the spacecraft Hayabusa to the asteroid Itokawa. It was planned to land, collect samples and return to earth. When it arrived at Itokawa the asteroid gave our scientists many problems. Somehow the spacecraft was damaged while it landed. It could not make the entire way back earth. So our spaceagency JAXA decided to let it sit on the asteroid and travel with it closer to earth. Once Itokawa reached its closest point to earth Hayabusa fired its boosters and left Itokawa. But there was not much fuel left. We basicly could only bring her on course and heading for earth. JAXA informed the NASA that Hayabusa will come down in a ballistic landing and that we need support at that stage. Within hours NASA was able to get government permissions and clear airspace for Hayabusa.

She entered atmosphere over Northamerica and headed south west:
    hayabusa-capsule-return-asteroid-fireball_21535_600x450.jpg

International teams of scientists followed the spacecraft as it went down to meassure how it reacts while going down.

It was clear she will land in Australia and the australian government secured the area and waited that our scientists could get it. Because all partners involved did know that prject is too important for political (*)(*)(*)(*).
