Surely you understand that a war fought in the 21st century using 21st century weapons will be different from the war you alluded to which was fought in the mid-20th century using 20th century weapons. If there is a new international war...it will be much, much worse than anything that has gone before.

3 things about this.

1. One of the precursors will be a massive increase in the Chinese blue water navy, especially in amphibious assault ships like the American LST. Outside of that, you are correct. China can expand its borders into surrounding countries but they cant directly threaten any further than Japan.

2. Putin wont act unless he has some sort of military cover, or if hes backed into a place where he may lose power.

3. I suspect Iran or Pakistan/Turkey will be the initial flash point. It will draw American forces away from Europe and Russia. It will deteriorate American war stocks, and, probably most importantly, will encompass most of the middle east. The ME in chaos will give China and Russia the cover they need to strike out. In Russias case, it could even make it easier to take over the oil fields.

We dont even know if the DNC was hacked. We only have their word for it. Law enforcement was never allowed to investigate.

But again, that hack happened under Obama and allowed it to continue.
