LOL look up quantum mechanical just start with.

By the way you do know that there is zero evidence for a personal god existing in this universe or any other universe?

    Irrelevant!

Which part of ......"the belief that God CREATED the universe....." is so hard to understand?

You may want to call the creator by any name you want to use (if that will make you feel any better) :)

....however, anyway you slice and dice it - it still boils down to .....<drumroll>.......

    .....tadaaaaaaaaa..........

    Lets try again with you,
No I am simply asking how the "force" is a being. He defines god as supernatural invisible being, but just indicates a "force"

Can you explain, second time of asking.

    Stop there and.....think. [IMG]

Assuming the poll is accurate.....all the more you got to wonder why on earth the
National Academy of Sciences would issue a statement that more or less, support the existence of God?

Could it be because the NAS doesn't go by polls (scientific facts aren't determined by popularity)......but, by what can be observed and analyzed?

Could it be because like as the NAS had admitted - THERE ARE PHYSICAL EVIDENCES that support THEISTIC Evolution?

Despite that majority of its members are non-believers....could it be that the NAS has no choice but to go along with what the evidence(s) show?

And as if to rub salt on atheist members......

Btw, John Barrow has coauthored (with Frank J. Tipler) The Anthropic Cosmological Principle, a work on the history of the ideas, specifically intelligent design and teleology, as well as a treatise on astrophysics.

Look up both QUANTUM Mechanical and Occam razor.

An next there seem to be a strong need in the human heart to believe in some personal god and not all scientists can override that need.

They are raised in the same culture that the rest of us are raised in that pound the idea of a personal god into all of us from infant hood and on top of that for countless generations anyone who did not at least give lip service to the tribal gods did not live long enough to breed.

    Why should I explain that?

All I did was respond to your post, and ask what kind of evidence you wanted!

There is no evidence. None at all. Believers always talk about "evidence" and that others just won't believe, but that's nonsense. And actually, its the believers that deny things, like all the evidence (or lack thereof) that does not support their being a god, or that shows their religion that they believe is 100% true is indeed not.

And its completely ridiculous to claim that you can't definitely prove something doesn't exist. There being a god is not the default position, even though believers try to make it so. If something doesn't exist, how do you prove it doesn't exist? The only thing you have is the lack of any evidence at all. So therefore, unicorns and a number of other ridiculous things must exists, since people cna't prove they don't. Don't try to claim you are making an intelligent, logical argument when you are not.
    \
And every single so called "evidence all around" are people just desperately looking for anything and grasping at straws trying to make it fit there being a "god."

IN fact, how about religious people just move on. Believe whatever you want, and just shut up about it. You can't prove a thing, so how about just keep it personal and to yourself. And don't try to legislate your religious views

That the standard practice of all people who have no argument, and I'm sick of all forums being full of these dishonest people. State something, everybody else argues why its wrong, just keep deflecting with stupid one liners and not refuting anything. Simply stating "read the OP" when its clear people have read it and are specifically refuting it, and just repeat this cycle, shows the person has nothing. It's basically trolling at this point. People have provided well reasoned arguments to counter and all the person can say is "nuh uh, you didn't"

Why is every forum filled with people like this?

This creator of the universe is a personal god on the model of the Christian three in one god?

Saying god is kind of meaningless unless you can define the term god just to start with.

Ironic since there is no evidence for your imaginary "creator" theory either.

Your argument hinges on this supposed “nothing”. Can you please provide evidence that this “nothing” does or ever did exist?

Anyway, see you are just another unoriginal person trolling the internet with the same stupid one liner responses to everything. Why do forums allow this type of nonsense? It's trolling, plain and simple

You understand those are two dimensional graphs attempting to give a layman’s explanation of a 4 dimensional issue, yes?

They are not meant to be the be all end all of the topic.

Then your argument is an utter failure. Those graphs do not say what you are trying to claim they do.

To the left of that graph according to science is not “nothing”, it is the singularity.

I think a lot of it has to do with blogs and videos, people simply see an explanation presented in this way and they swallow it.When it comes to a forum and they are questioned their lack of understanding shines through. They have no choice but to deflect.

You are the one claiming blank areas on a picture trying to compress a complex 4 dimensional concept that scientists have a hard time understanding into a two dimensional graph for laymen is scientific proof that “nothing” once existed and somehow “therefore God”.

I’m thinking you are clearly the misguided one.
