There is still no evidence that Iran wants to be like Israel, but it is telling that Israel is utterly horrified with the thought of other nations being like itself.

I've said it before, and I will say it again.

I believe it possible for a form of collective mental illness or temporary insanity, to grip a nation's people. Or, if not the people, those in control of said nation.

If Israel of today were a mental illness it would be NPD.

The similarity in traits are staggering.

A pervasive pattern of grandiosity (in fantasy or behavior), need for admiration, and lack of empathy, beginning by early adulthood and present in a variety of contexts, as indicated by five (or more) of the following:

1.Has a grandiose sense of self-importance (e.g., exaggerates achievements and talents, expects to be recognized as superior without commensurate achievements)

2.Is preoccupied with fantasies of unlimited success, power, brilliance, beauty, or ideal love

3.Believes that he or she is "special" and unique and can only be understood by, or should associate with, other special or high-status people (or institutions)

    4.Requires excessive admiration

5.Has a sense of entitlement, i.e., unreasonable expectations of especially favorable treatment or automatic compliance with his or her expectations

6.Is interpersonally exploitative, i.e., takes advantage of others to achieve his or her own ends

7.Lacks empathy: is unwilling to recognize or identify with the feelings and needs of others

8.Is often envious of others or believes others are envious of him or her

9.Shows arrogant, haughty behaviors or attitudes

If the US and the EU had any moral fibre about them, and any consistancy whatsoever, then they would consider the very strong case for BDS sanctions against Israel.

But of course, that will not happen, not until we are free from the cancer of Zionism, for it is a cancer, it eats away at our media, it eats away at our religions, it eats away at our political parties.

Don't take my word for it, spend some time, go see just how far the tentacles of Zionism have strangled those very things I have mentioned.

Come on....less of the American dogma!

The IAEA states.....all nuclear materials are accounted for and no deviation from Iran's stated aims of its nuclear programme....any thing else is American lies as you well know! Now that worries me to know to whom I'm discussing the subject!

IAEA to reveal Iran building nuclear weapons at base near Tehran... Iran has carried out experiments in the final stage for developing nuclear weapons including explosions and computer simulations of explosions.

It was all in written in english as well...funny that considering Iranians talk and write in Arabic!
Mmm....and wasn't the IAEA not allowed to release the information the laptop contained...it was found to be fraudulent by the IAEA!

    Bollocks!

    Borat....return to your namesake!

There is no Iranian nuclear weapons program and so the IAEA won't be exposing one. The IAEA will produce the usual, US of AIPAC-pacifying ambiguities from which paranoids and perverts will be invited to draw their own conclusions . You've provided an example of what we can expect and the report hasn't even been released yet let alone passed to the Security Council

Those determined to wage war on civilized nations should either be strapped to their own bunker-busters or squeezed into a uniform and placed in the front line. They can MEGAPHONE their rhetoric from there.

One suspects that any such ' proof ' would have been enthusiastically re-routed here by now.

I am listening to a programme on BBC Radio 4 about Israel's place in the world and both the internal and external problems they think they face...and what to do about them.

And it is scary......because it appears the settlers and the far right rule.....and they are no less terrorists than Israel claims Hamas is.

I was also really puzzled as to how any settler would think that not having a Palestinian State in "Judea and Samaria" will automatically remove all Muslims from Israel's borders, and thus remove the "Muslim threat" about which Israewl is so paranoid!

When is Israel going to realise that the way to make friends in the region is to do nice things and not be nasty ********s?

Israel's years of recruiting for the Occupied Territories has come back to haunt them.. I can't believe they were so myopic.

And any "proof" which will turn up, in the shape of IAEA reports will be so hedged about with "possibly" and "perhaps" and "allegedly" and "we believe" and other such weasel words that it will prove nothing at all bar that everybody does what the US and Israel expects.

The BBC's reportage on the Israel/Palestine issue is notoriously and systematically biased in favour of Israel which ought not to come as a surprise. But the fact, that this reality has been analysed and documented by professor Greg Philo and his research team at Glasgow Universities Media Group, is significant. Philo's analysis highlighted in the books, 'Bad News From Israel' and 'More Bad News' is consistent with Herman and Chomsky's propaganda model. But recently the BBC hit a new low. As former UK diplomat Craig Murray pointed out:

"The BBC News channel devoted only a single sentence to Palestine’s diplomatic coup in gaining full membership of Unesco. It used that single sentence once at 18.23 and once during the following hour. And this is that single sentence:

'Israel says that Unesco’s decision to admit Palestine to full membership will damage the prospects for peace in the Middle East.'

    Murray continued:

"No other view was given, We did not hear what Palestine says, or what Unesco says, or what any of the huge majority of 107 countries which voted for Palestine say. The only view we were given was the Israeli view, and there was no questioning or discussion of that view.

'Israel says' – what an astonishing opening two words to a report on a great day for Palestinian diplomacy. Everyone connected with BBC News should be utterly ashamed. Why don’t we just save the license fee and let Netanyahu’s office broadcast the news instead?"

    http://www.craigmurray.org.uk/archives/2011/10/bbc-shame/

    Well said Craig.

Nope......it was quite a decent programme really.......I posted while the settlers were being interviewed.

Should be able to get it on IPlayer in a day or so...... BBC4 Radio Programme first aired 1.30 Sunday 6th November called The State of Israel.

One of the last lines was something about Israeli's sitting around drinking cappuccino on the edge of a volcano.

Exactly so. Toss some ambiguities into the fan and then stand back and watch the warmongers leap to get spattered. How much notice did these legless hawks take of Hans Blix ? And he was Swedish, poor sod.

    Hey Hans ! They're STILL HERE !!
