What is interesting is to listen to these extremist fundamentalists

    1) justify killing women, children and babies in the name of God.
    2) Turn around and criticise Islam for "killing in the name of God"
    3) Claim to follow a Messiah who says

"Take the log out of your own eye prior to picking out the spec in your brothers"
"Do unto others what you would have them do to you"
"Turn the other Cheek" "Love they neighbor as thyself" and so on.

Does anyone else see something a tad bit hypocritical an inane about this picture or is it just me ?

Yes but your opinion does not reflect reality. I was hoping for an objective opinion.

Opinion is going to be opinion (subjective) regardless that the speaker/writer may claim the opinion to be 'objective', the formation of the opinion came from the recesses of that speaker/writer intellect thus reducing it to subjectivity.

A very short answer would be....yes!

Depends on the manner in which you are questioning. If you're seeking answers in a sincere way it's ok, however if the manner in which you seek answers are from insincere questions, or questions from a hypocritical heart, they are a different matter. Our heart attitude is what determines whether it is right or wrong to question God/Bible.

If you say a lot of the Bible is incorrect then you must be a non-believer for it wouldn't make sense to claim to be a Christian and say a lot of of the Bible is incorrect.

And so for one to say a lot of the Bible is incorrect is essentially saying you don't believe the Bible, you don't believe the Bible is the Word of God, you don't believe that God exist and the only sin that is not pardonable is the sin to not believe in God, to not believe He exist. All other sins can be forgiven by God but not the sin of disbelief in Him.

    Yes.

First I must point out that we are all sinners, we have all broken God's commandments, nobody lives an entire sinless life only our Savior Jesus Christ lived a sinless life and according to Scripture anyone who is unsaved will be forever separated from God for all eternity then it must mean all the unsaved will reside in hell for all eternity.

Since I have faith in God, I believe in Him, I believe He is the Creator of all existence, who am I to question God's just punishment for the unsaved? If you don't believe in Him, don't love Him, don't have faith in Him, why would He allow such a person to be with Him in the eternal life, it wouldn't make sense besides you have sins incurred while you lived on earth and you need to pay for your sins which is punishment for them.

Look it's a very simple thing to do, if you want to be saved from the punishment of your sins, confess you are a sinner, asks God for forgiveness of your sins, accept Jesus Christ as your Lord Savior. Pray to God, seek Him and you will find Him. Start believing in Him.

We read in Scripture, "I love all who love me. Those who search will surely find me."---Proverbs 8:17 NLT

If you just can't bring yourself to do that well if you find yourself residing in hell someday just remember it was your choice to be there.

If you believe in God, love Him and trust Him you should not fear Him, however for all the non-believers, you might not fear Him now because of your disbelief but the day will come when you will indeed fear His judgment over you! It will be too late for you to tell Him you're sorry you didn't believe in Him, didn't have faith in Him, didn't love Him.

We read in Scripture, "Put on all of God’s armor so that you will be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil."---Ephesians 6:11 NLT

So for the believer, no we shouldn't fear him because with God's armor we should be able to stand firm against all strategies of the devil.

God does not do "dirty work" and so your question, "Why does God seem to let the devil do His dirty work"....is invalid. It is obvious you have misinterpreted the message from the book of Job.

Below is a description of the story of Job provided by the NLT (The New Living Translation Bible:

The problem of human suffering is pondered by most everyone at some time or another. The book of Job in the Holy Bible addresses this ancient and difficult problem. It tells the story of Job, a godly man who endured enormous amount of suffering while remaining faithful to God.

The story begins with Job losing his children, his many possessions, and even his own health---all within a very short period of time. Only Job's wife escaped the ruin that satan inflicted upon him. Then Job's three friends came to comfort him and to reflect on the purpose of his suffering. They each considered the basic question: Why must we endure suffering when God is powerful enough to do something about it? Job's wife simply declared it all unfair, advising Job, "Curse God and die" (2:9).

Each of Job's three friends, Eliphaz, Bildad, and Zophar, delivered speeches accounting for Job's misery. A young man, Elihu, tried to summarize the situation with yet another explanation. But all of them failed to provide Job with a satisfactory answer.

Finally, God Himself spoke directly to Job, asking him a long list of questions that forced him to recognize his finite understanding of life. Job realized that ultimately God is in charge and knows what He is doing. So Job remained silent and stood in awe of God's sovereignty. In the end, God restored Job's health, possessions, and family.

No problem, it was a pleasure to answer them.

So, He threatens non-believers with death (and worse), but that isn't a command to worship Him or love Him by force? This must be another one of those funny "Biblical" ways of redefining things, like when you redefine infanticide so that it isn't "murder" or redefine the forced marriage of captives so that it isn't "rape" or redefine the ownership of another human being so that it isn't "slavery" or redefine eternal torture so that it isn't "psychopathic."

Quit playing coy. It's right there in the 10 commandments. Follow Him. Obey Him. Worship Him to the exclusion of all other faiths or have rocks thrown at you until you die. You can do all of the mental gymnastics that you want and claim that "well, He doesn't force people to believe in Him, because you are still free to not believe . . . and be executed and burn in hell." By that logic, ALL faiths--even the most militant wings of Islam and the bizarre personality cults of Marxists--are shining beacons to the freedom of religion, strictly by virtue of the fact that they kill blasphemers rather than having their gods immediately lobotomize everyone into accepting their religion from birth.

And let's not forget that the OT mandated physical violence/force in the enforcement of religious belief, which Christians thought was hunky-dory as well until the Enlightenment came along and embarrassed their basic sense of human empathy.

I just love how FAST ...he contradicted his own claims, when he saw that MittRyan wouldn't back him.

Suddenly WAN agrees that "baby cannibalization" is a "bit of a stretch" (a polite way of saying "bulls**t") and that it is NOT in the Bible.....so in other words, he spend MONTHS espousing a belief that he now agrees is...

    A. Ludicrous

and B. Not substantiated by the Bible.

    - - - Updated - - -

Which is the reason the safest thing to do ...is not really say anything. If you are intentially vague or just snarky and just attack what the other person says, but never declare any beliefs of your own....you can always claim that you are being "wrongfully characterized".

Now you do know (or at least you should know) that I have consistently stated at least one of my beliefs. Therefore, your comments about me are irrelevant and meaningless. Just to evidence my point: One of my many beliefs is this: The sun is very very hot. Of course, because it is a belief, and because that belief is also shared by many scientists across the globe, there is little need for you to say 'prove it'.... unless of course you are also going to challenge the scientific community in regard to that subject matter. Another evidence that I can offer in support of that belief is the UV index for North Florida today. Would you like for me to retrieve that data and present it also? It is available on Google. http://weather.weatherbug.com/FL/Panama City Beach-weather/uv-index.html So you see, your presumptions are way out in left field when it comes to you thinking that you know me and the things that I believe.

My apologies. You've take a firm, decisive stand on the fact the Sun is hot.

    :)

Gifted, if you don't BELEIVE that you made a wrongful characterization....and objective reality doesn't exist.....then you DIDN'T make a wrongful characterization. and NOBODY can prove you did.

I know a solipsist that will back me up on that.

Yes ! I have. That, BTW, is only one of many beliefs in which I believe very strongly.

Also keep in mind, the definition of 'fact': something believed to be true or real.

What evidence. According to you there is no such thing as objective evidence.

"Prove your opinion is not worthless"

Did I say anything about "objective evidence"? No? Then that additional language (objective) is a figment of your imagination. Not mine.

Most historical records begin with slaughtering of innocent people this include babies, ethnic cleansing, enslavement such historical records with Egypt's, Assyria, Babylonia, Persia. Macedonia, Greece, Rome, wars of empire building and the historical record of Harod killing babies because he wanted to kill baby Jesus. The OT contains stories of struggle between good and evil and God's being on the side of good.

This observation is very important for Bible readers.

They can better see that the Old Testament is telling us just how patriarchs like the early hebrews thought and acted in the way god made patriarchs.
Once we realize that the Bible is about God and what men think about "Him," we see that muslims are just thinking the same way.

The Hebrew patriarchs and the muslims of today think sexually promiscuous societies are an illness.
This illness is attacking their children.
Both want to eradicate it, even through war and/or religion.

It is a Matriarchy VS Patriarchy story that we are reading and it is still working the same way today.

Jesus said the end of War between these two factions is Truth.

Once Hillary (and the other liberal candidtes for public office) start measuring the Report Card for the great Liberation of the 1960 Sexual Revolution, we will see the failures in 1.2 million annual Abortions and half the nation's kids raised fatherless into poverty and crime as The Truth to conquer the evil of these Wars.

Indeed it is very pathetic that your fellow atheist have corrected you on your lies about babies in Genesis 6:5 they have already moved away from that because they realized that nothing has been mention in Genesis 6:5-7 about babies and what is very clear is that God acted because evil was getting out of control, about your human-ape claim that have cause you to withdraw from posting any evidence or posting a chart of human-ape evolution even my good Christian friend Mitt has called your attention but most of all your calling for others to lift you up and so far they have just give you a blank stare:blankstare:

Man VS Man is the one evil Truth should eliminate.

Great nations have risen from men working together.
We need more focus on this and the discovery and use of Truth for better societies, coupled to an insight about sexual prudence that first thinks about the next generation of kids.

It is the anti God who have been using babies to argue God's action against the wicked people and it is I who expose them for using babies as human shield in their argument you should be directing your question to them why do they keep using babies against God's action on the wicked and evil. The Bible is very clear God is against evil while anti God people are against God's action against those evil people.
Satan was once an Arc Angel of God name Lucifer and Lucifer chose to be God. Lucifer free will chose to become Satan it is not God's choice just like people who chose to be anti God.
Not the Egyptians, not the Ishmaelites, not the Amorites, not the Moabites, not the Babylonians, not the Philistines only the King of Sihon because King Sihon are children of Satan. King Sihon have no intention of allowing the Hebrews pass their plan is to ambushed them and wipe them out.

You can never reply to a post without misrepresenting what someone says. In the real world you would not get away with this. You would spend most of your time in court defending yourself against libellous accusations. I have never denied any of the above, in fact I gave an example months ago of cannibalism in extreme conditions.
The fact you have to do this proves your inability to make out a 'satisfactory' case for yourself.
