Your OP starts with Jesus creating individual liberty - which he absolutely did NOT do.

You go on to say he liberated people from Caesar - which he did not do. In fact, he directed his followers to do what Caesar told them to do.

You then use that as your foundation for further argument.

You can't argue the truth based on a foundation that is absolutely and totally false.

So you brought up Constantine, but there is no way to use him as an example or basis for your thesis.

you can't kill a God, if he was killed it's like saying a witch drowned so it proves she was a witch, if a God dies, does it prove he is a God?

Jesus fully and explicitly ceded to Roman rule.

Jesus promulgated duties for humans and described an afterlife different from that of the religion of the government of Rome. That included NO individual freedoms or rights - just duties.

There was nothing of earth that Jesus didn't cede.

Today, Christians do NOT want to ceded everything of earth to their government. In fact, the wealthy do NOT want to sell their belongings and give the proceeds to the poor or turn the other cheek etc.

Today, Christians (and non-Christians) believe they have individual rights that governments may not lightly deny.

That didn't come from Jesus - it came from secular progress.

That should be profoundly interesting to you as you search for things that did not come from the Bible.

so did our Constitution but, as it turned out, freedom for some meant freedom for all, most recently freedom for 1.4 Chinese from communism. Do you understand?

Jesus said give to God and Rome, not give only to Rome. Do you see it now? This is when the state was challenged and the individual born. It ultimately led to Locke and Jefferson

sure he did! he told them they were individuals, individually loved by God with a responsibility to behave correctly, who would ultimately be judged as individuals based on the individual choices they made in their lives, and then sent to hell, heaven, or purgatory as individuals. 1+1=2 Now you can see the birth of liberty and America!

Exactly. He stated that each individual has duties.

We JAIL people who chose to break the law - that isn't freedom.

God sends people to everlasting damnation if they fail their duties - that isn't freedom.

You have an absolutely unacceptable view of what freedom means. Freedom means one can make a choice without having the laws of man and/or god come down on you like God's own thunder.

we don't care whether you call the individual's responsibilities duties or not. We care that Jesus identified individuals, not groups, as objects of God's love. This led to Locke and Jefferson. Now do you understand?

Freedom does not mean that to any political philosopher I know. Did you just make it up on the spot?

You just agreed that what Jesus added were duties - or responsibilities of individuals as you now put it.

Suggesting that those duties are the source of our individual rights is not just illogical, but absolutely false.

If that were true, then why don't more Republicans act like Christians?

Because YOU made claims about freedom and I point out that it isn't freedom if the consequences for not making the RIGHT DECISION are jail - or hell!
