And what makes you think I must respond exactly to your post?

    ALL IS WELL IN AMERICA!

    Pelosi did damn fine!

Jerko spent nearly an hour telling Congress absolutely nothing and when he handed his speech to Pelosi he did not even have the decency to shake her hand, as he had done to "his VP" seated right next to her!

Blah, blah, blah. "Health and Power". Is that all it comes down to finally. For most Americans, unlike you, it's a lot more!

And how about the fact that the US has the worst Income Disparity of any advanced nation today? Is that not of any importance?

Not for you evidently. Because you are one of ultra-rich?!? Who who think "I earn a cool million (or more) a year so all is well!"

    You've got blinders on ... !

Exactly the same is happening in the hospital right down the road from me!

And NO! THERE IS NO KNOWN MEDICATION TODAY TO AVOID A POSSIBLE DEATH FROM THE CORONAVIRUS.

So, yes, here in Europe, those affected are being isolated. And the older ones are still dying every day. If there were a solution, they would be given it.

We are not DUMB in Europe - and many of the countries are implicated in the effort to develop a final solution. That WILL happen - but not soon enough ...

All my posts are based on multiple news reports, videos, and duplicated sources. I know what you guys are doing from the messages.

Remember during the last eclipse when the media warned everyone to not look directly at the sun? And then during the eclipse Trump stared directly into the sun?
I knew that was very weird--that it represented something seriously psychologically wrong with him. Trump will do exactly the opposite of what he believes authority is tells him to do. This is a subconscious kink that has developed because he never suffers the consequences of his actions in his protected privileged life. He will do the opposite of what is expected to continually reinforce the fact he can do what ever he wants because he is all powerful and special. In this case, his psychological kink that he can't work out will result in mass death.

Yes, the above is precisely what we are doing in France. And Europe as whole.

And international flights are being cancelled as well. Moreover, as a consequence stock-markets are tumbling ...

You forgot content. I stated the obvious. The US labour market, characterised by a lack of sickness benefit, really isn't suited to self-isolation requirements needed to slow the virus.

Right. Neoliberal economic ideology always touts economic "efficiency" as the goal of industry to maximize profits. However, system engineers know that highly efficient systems have no resiliency and collapse after an emergency.

So we have all these economically efficient businesses that provides little or no sick leave, even if another employee is absent on vacation, low wages, airline prices, education prices, medical prices all working efficiently to exploit any situation.

But what happens if a student, for example, must leave school because of the plague? Taxis, airlines, hospitals, pharmacies jack up prices to maximize profits. All this efficiency prevents planning for emergencies and acting.

What happens if the virus is widespread and you must serve jury duty? If you refuse, there is a $1,000 fine and one year in jail. "But I will get an exemption" you say. No, that isn't efficient. Get it?

Institutional efficiency is the only coordination principle....even if it kills you.

So you take public transportation and show up for jury duty as the law demands at the very same time your city is off loading from a cruise ship two miles away 1,963 people possibly infected with the conroa virus. Is the court defendant directly from the jail? Has the Sheriff deputy that checked my ID been in the jail? Then in real time the State declares a state of emergency.

Efficiency matters most. People are viewed as variable exploitable resources and abstractions...."only 8,000 people will die."

So Larry Kudlow on cable call for those that are sick to go to work anyway. Now why would Larry give such bad advice? Was he drunk? Maybe, but Kudlow knows that the stock market is a highly efficient machine with derivatives, stock buy backs, algorithmic trading based on massive, massive debt in the shadow markets and the Dow.

If people stop going to work just for a few days it will cause a massive stock market collapse involving all those traditional and occult interest bearing instruments that need debt. A work stoppage and collapse would then reveal all the fraudulent hedge funds investment houses, and banks. This happened to Madoff in 2008.

Efficient systems have no resiliency so that when there is a collapse all the skeleton fall out of the closet---and there are a lot of skeletons.

There should be a General Strike right now demanding medicare for all....or the oligarchs and Wall Street will lose their asses. As George Orwell said, only force will defeat fascism.

My daughter is an RN at the local hospital. If you show up there thinking you might have this virus you are sent home and told the public health dept will come to your house.

But I dont think we have many govt health workers here .Spring break in florida will spread it more .

Our first case just appeated here in Ms. The dude just returned from Florida. He is quarantined or so they say.

On Ms talk radio this morning it was said on of our factories cannot get in foreign parts to make their profucts .

I got a gut feeling this virus will be disruptive in a historical sense

While people like you cower in fear I’m going to enjoy the low gas prices and less crowded national parks that will be a result of people like you cowering in fear.
    Thanks!:)

Trump told Italy not to be so intertwined with China. They thumbed their noses at us and open borders enabled a flow of infected people into the EU.

10 years ago, we knew we had a deficiency in testing for pandemics. 60 million Americans had H1N1 in 2010. Why are we not automated as other countries are. Seasonal flue inflicts 40 million Americans. When someone falls ill during flu season, we need to double test to find out whether they have the Seasonal Flu or Corona virus.

Right now, we are lucky that Trump is willing to take heat holding back hordes of infected people until he can get his hands around the disease. Unlike the previous administration, while you might not like the way we get there, he will solve the problem. That's what business owners have to do. Community agitators just complain.

I don't think of it as cowering in fear. I think it is simply prudent for a 70 yo with COPD to avoid getting a disease which is very likely to kill him when two months staying home will enable him to enjoy the next ten or fifteen years or so.

I don't know why you want to put me down like that. I hate the outdoors and I have never been to a national park. I enjoy the urban pleasures of museums, concerts, etc. which are liable to be shut down anyway. I will just catch up on my reading. I enjoy that too.

But if you are so insecure that you need to put people down to feel like a big man, go for it. It is not like I care about your opinion of me.
