Well, it's ... Something. I'll give him and them that. I'd like to see the details, and I'm cautious about the longevity but if it works, kudos.
LMAO... so he’ll just kick that can down the road but you don’t care that it’s all fake as long as trump can lie about it now.
What about the part of the agreement where Israel agreed to freeze annexing the West Bank? I know this doesn't by any means resolve the Israel and Palestine conflict, but it isn't entirely accurate to say Palestine is not included
Come on Bluesguy, this is a nothing. UAE and Bahrain are already US minions, heavily dependant on the US. They are nobodies in the ME but they do have host large US bases. If Trump brokered a peace between Palestine and Israel, THEN I'd take notice. This is political engineered electioneering, plain and simple. Any numpty can see that.
While it is true that the UAE and Bahrain aren't changing much in this agreement, I would still say getting Israel to agree to freeze on annexing the West Bank is pretty important
Sure....and you watch Israel break that deal any time it likes. Cheap window dressing easily removed.
Kuwaiti TV host Fajer Alsaeed said in a monologue on an August 17, 2020 episode of her show on Scope TV (Kuwait) that the Palestinians are rejecting the benefits the UAE has achieved on their behalf in its deal with Israel like they had rejected the treaty that Egyptian President Anwar Sadat had signed with Israel. She said that she hopes that the Palestinians will deal "responsibly" with the current deal between the UAE and Israel and "do away with the revolutionary spirit" that she said no longer suits this day and age. https://www.memri.org/tv/kuwaiti-ho...ejection-of-uae-isreal-peace-historic-mistake Our entire life has been shut down by a tiny virus. Look at the world from that perspective, not from the perspective of 70 years ago. The world has changed, but Palestinian mentality remains the same.
Sure, if Israel violates the agreement that wouldn't be good, but the fact that Israel did agree to freeze annexing the West Bank is a good thing
Absolutely I do Perhaps if the Palestinian people were given Israeli citizen status it wouldn't be so bad, however the Israeli government doesn't recognize them as citizens of Israel, nor do they recognize them as citizens of their own country. They are not recognized as citizens of anywhere, they are being robbed of their most basic human rights
I don't think Israel needs to be moved anywhere, but clearly the people of Palestine should be recognized as citizens, whether it is citizens of Israel, or citizens of their own country.
The negotiations were all one sided Palestine was not included If General Motors held union talks without the union invited to the table ................ What substance is there to outcome ?
Not by Israel. 60+ of Jordanians are actually palestinians. The palestinians have been kept hostages by the arabs, not Israel. The arabs refused to let them in any arab country and use them as pawns, blaming Israel for their treatment and brainwashing the people while the royal families hoard oil money at their expense. If palestinians were given the right to vote as citizens in Israel the first day they had a majority every Jew would be executed.
That information is not accurate. The so called Palestinians have their own passports and their own identity cards from the authority. They are citizens of the Palestinian authority. Many don't know that 85% of the people who live in Jordan are Palestinians .. Jordan is Palestine.
i do have to say, a lot of created should be given to biden and obama for turning their back on our allies i the region and getting close to the terrorist in iran. had they not done that then you would see the arab nations realizing the fear that a US President could sell out to the leading state of terror
potentially true..if biden wins it’s very possible. Biden is in Iran’s pocket. His support for the leading state sponsor of terror would undermine these historic peace deals...therefore if you want peace, don’t vote for biden
Is that the treaty between Israel and United Arab Emirates? Because I thought it just temporarily stopped Israel's expansion into the West Bank. So, in other words, kicked the can down the road.
The ceremony at the White House was longer lasting and more important (to Dirty Donnie) than this agreement.
