In the last trade war (in which Trump got our 4sses kicked up and down the street), we had to pour 10s of billions of dollars into the red states to make sure the farmers didn't stop growing food and to keep the farmers themselves from starving. This was mostly blue State money. You will no longer have this resource in your foreign country.
