Maybe the answer for the poor women's problems is glasses? Men don't make passes at girls who wear glasses.

    UH, where have YOU been???

There are people fighting to ban abortions...that's what the debate is about....

Care to ADDRESS the post of mine you quoted??

None, yet but they're trying with more and more restrictions on abortion.
I am sorry you're not up to date on the attack on women's rights but you should be if you want to discuss it.

Again: What TF do you think the abortion debate is about?

I NEVER said either childbirth or motherhood were slavery....WHY ARE YOU MAKING THINGS UP? That makes it appear you have no good argument and know it. :)

I said CLEARLY : "If they ban abortion they are abolishing the right to bodily autonomy for pregnant women....making them slaves..""

FORCING women to gestate is slavery...SEE, NO WHERE did I say childbirth or motherhood were slavery.

Try to keep your "imagination" under control....using it makes your argument worthless.

Gee, sexist and misogynistic all rolled into one trite, tired, antiquated, unimaginative, disrespectful old saying...

Gosh a whole treasure trove of sexism and misogyny...it isn't just abortion you don't like, is it? ;)

Answering a question with a question irrelevant to the question you responded to. Interesting.

You just compared childbirth to slavery. No one advocates forcing women to get pregnant.

Why should it be illegal for a woman kill her BORN kid in order to have life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness?

Absolutely. All I said was: "Women have no control over the abortion procedure. They're not in control. The doctor is."

So something should only be illegal if it harms someone?

Which HAS to mean that you think that abortion should be legal in all circumstances! Correct me if I'm wrong!

No more so than I feel that I have the right, as 'judge and jury', to tell other people what they should or should not do with their hands - like kill someone. I assume that you are against murder. So you feel you have the right, as 'judge and jury', to tell other people what they should or should not do?

And neither does ANYONE. In theory, a group of legislators could vote for a law which makes it illegal for someone from doing a particular thing to their body, but no such law has ever existed or even proposed as far as I know. The closest that we have are laws which prevent people from committing suicide, but it's not as if it's 'illegal', so that people who attempt suicide are charged. However, it does limit their freedom, especially if they are institutionalised as a result.

Why the hell would it all be up to me?

When did I say that I demand that people bow to what I believe?

Isn't it evident when rape has occurred?

I thought you were going to suggest glasses so they could better assess the prospective sperm donor

    And??

Does that equate to women are to be solely blamed for unintended pregnancy?

You are gloating because you can claim to have a consistent position on abortion, because you believe that abortion should not be limited to a particular week in the term. Of course, you fall apart when attempting to argue how a baby is different once born, compared to what it was when coming down the birth canal! :roflol:

If such a right as 'the right to privacy' was so important, then why isn't it an explicit RIGHT in the Constitution?
