    Errrr yes they do

They MOST certainly do! And it is not “internet content” it is published research. Most of the time we who do these reviews (and I do them as part of my job) also apply them to other fields because it is simply a way of evaluating data to ensure the answer is the one best supported by evidence

I'm talking about internet videos and posts as they appear. Published data? During a 2 year pandemic? Get serious.

No the tech companies do not have highly paid scientists just to evaluate some new video or tweet. You act like they are charities or something. They flag material based on politics only.

Much of what they banned as misinformation has been proven true. Like masks being harmful to kids.

    So how was this misinformation?

Let us start with the fact it is a you tube - NOT a repeat NOT a scientific paper and certainly not a systematic review

I am talking about reviewing research - the ONLY way medicine should operate

I'm talking about scientific and medical professionals giving their opinions or experiences pertaining to Covid and being censored for purely political reasons.

If a licensed medical doctor says she treated 50 Covid patients with HCQ and 40 got better what paper do you use to prove her wrong? That is her experience!

Your heroes in social media will censor that and try to destroy it and perhaps the person reporting it.

If the same doctor said that only 10 patients got better so it does not work they are lionized.

This is not science it is politics and it is evil and wrong.

If Trump HAD said "Don't ever, ever, ever use HCQ" pharmacists wouldn't have been able to keep in stock.

No it is not and you have consistently failed to prove this beyond quoting conspiracy theory websites

there is a TON of discussion where it matters - within academia. NO medication gets decided in the court of public opinion

As to what is wrong with

I can sum it in one word

    BIAS

Let us start with confirmation bias where they are seeing the results that they want to see and that can be as extreme as they are only Covid testing those who have not taken the drug. This is why RCTs are the gold standard ( random controlled trials).
What degree of testing were they doing? Was it a yes/no positive or were they looking at viral load?

Then let us move on to sample size - no one doctor will have treated enough patients to establish a good sample size - we are taking thousands of patients here and that is why we do multiple trials in multiple centres and review ALL the results - this is called a “systematic review”.
This is an outline of one such review

    https://journals.plos.org/plosone/article?id=10.1371/journal.pone.0244778

There are others and there are databases out there dedicated to this sort of academic enterprise.

I have not quoted one conspiracy website. Conspiracy to do what? Nice lie. You cannot understand the most basic concepts.

I'm not promoting HCQ! I'm promoting free speech! What are you not getting? MDs and scientists have a right to tell people their opinions and experiences without being censored by some moron with a gender studies degree.

This is political it has nothing to do with science. You agree with that censorship for political reasons. You are arguing with me and lying about me using conspiracy websites for political reasons.

Why would anyone want a cheap effective treatment?
Where is the profit in that? ;-)

I guess the thousands of doctors who have prescribed HCQ for Covid patients have engaged in malpractice.

Because, firstly (and legitimately) its used to treat a number of medical conditions that aren't related to covid. Which is one of the risks of diverting it's use away from people who need it to people who panic and think it might do them some good. Secondly, especially in America there's a profit to be made from writing a script. How many doctors wrote unnecessary scripts for synthetic opioids when they shouldn't have?

True, a rule of thumb is that about 50% of professionals are really qualified. Like one nurse told me they cannot identify bad doctors or risk losing their jobs but bad doctors have nicknames like the butcher.

Think before you write. According to your accusation doctors deliberately write unecessary prescriptions because they are all in on a pharmacy kick back scam. Brilliant. Now provide the names of these doctors in cahoots and how you know.

Its one thing to advance conspiracy theories belittling an entire profession its another to prove it.

The term "bad" and the amount 50% have no basis. You made them up as subjective accusations to rationalize your distrust of physicians.

Why is HCQ cheaper than a covid 19 vaccine? You even know the price of either? Also provide your medical evidence its effective in treating covid 19. Its not and no doctor has claimed it is. You make it up.

Prove otherwise. I don’t distrust physicians, that is your false assumption. I do know that a medical student that barely passes exams is called doctor.
