The libraries originally tried to cancel him and not allow him in. And when they did allow this book promotion they still done it with skepticism and critical comments of him saying they don’t have to promote the book reading nor do they have to advertise it. But they did believe he should have a chance too. Woke crap is flooding the gates and it will break society to its core.

Yeah, sounds like another MAGA goober who cannot estimate crowds accurately

    SNIP
“We are being inaccurately portrayed in news/social after a room rental yesterday,” the Indianapolis Public Library tweeted Friday. Our estimated door count during the event is around 750, not 2,500. We’ve had larger events. We turn 150 yrs old in 2023. And our auditorium, which our guests chose not to rent, holds 300, not 2,000.”

Maybe Kirk was counting teeth at the event??

Both are bad things that need to be ended.

That will change as the perversion that the secular progressive left elites have pushed off on our kids is being eradicated by red states and local school boards and traditional values and patriotism replace Wokeism the current and future under 18 population will recover from the diseased fare the current 18-29 faced in school

So you think that love of country and patriotism are religious? One can teach social skills and the rule of law without religion but religion makes those come naturally

Had to look it up... estimated 2 million at Ghandi's funeral....

You need to update that joke to be Argentina's World Cup celebration - estimated 4 million (or 1/3 of a typical Trump inauguration)

Its kind of sad that you can assert your beliefs so firmly but never seem to be able to answer the vast majority of questions asked because they dismantle your narrative. Also, religion has nothing to do with law or social skills.

A person with integrity would reevaluate their position if that happened with any frequency.

I never said patriotism is necessarily religious but it typically seems — even throughout history — that when the two items collide we are left with very dangerous groups of individuals that can no longer be reasoned with as they believe they are acting on behalf of a higher power.

Didn't work for me.... maybe you have the George Santos version of the Internet?

I saw a bunch of boring platitudes... certainly nothing of substance...

I'd let this guy speak at any library in my neighborhood, especially to children near their bedtimes...

I did. Don't see much of anything other than prattling on with religious based ignorance.

Kirk Cameron draws 2,500 people at Indianapolis Public Library for children's book reading
Author of new children's book is giving two readings this week

Actor-writer-producer Kirk Cameron, who was originally denied or ignored by over 50 public libraries in America for a story-time book reading connected to his new children's book, appeared at the Indianapolis Public Library in Indiana on Thursday — and was met with the biggest crowd the library had seen in 137 years, according to the library's comments that were shared with Fox News Digital.

Cameron and his publisher, Brave Books, lined up space for him to read and discuss his new book, "As You Grow," at the Indianapolis Public Library after they were originally rebuffed by others.

But Cameron and Brave Books persisted — and ultimately Cameron was able to address the thousands of people who showed up to hear him and his messages.

KIRK CAMERON DECLARES A ‘WIN’ OVER TWO PUBLIC LIBRARIES THAT DENIED HIM STORY HOURS BUT HAVE NOW ‘CAVED’

The publisher shared video and pictures of the event both on social media and with Fox News Digital. Numerous postings show the overflow crowds that greeted Cameron on Thursday.

Cameron told Fox News Digital in comments on Friday morning, "Yesterday, a brushfire of faith, family and freedom ignited inside the Indianapolis Public Library. It's in Scarsdale, New York, today and it's moving across America, awakening the sleeping giant of the family of faith."

I think Kirk Cameron's brand of Christianity is probably more of a detriment than it is an asset.

Have you heard from that crazy crap that dude says? Have you seen me utterly dismal movies he stared in?

I'm wondering if Kirk Cameron is employed by Hollywood as an effort to make Christianity look bad. And to show people that Christians are incapable of creating entertainment people want to enjoy.

Where do you think these values are learned? Perhaps at the drag queen shows for kids? Streets of liberal run cities?

Hard to imagine but this thread is a clear example of liberals getting so upset at kids learning good wholesome values at the will of their parents. Liberals HATE this and will do anything to stop it.

    Yes, he made the claim.

“In 137 years of the Indianapolis Public Library’s history, NEVER ONCE have they had over 2,500 people show up to a single event. UNTIL TODAY.”

Is he an idiot or liar? Or both?

Well, call me pedantic if you wish, but wouldn't teaching kids about "faith" be "RELIGIOUS" grooming? It seems to me that would be the definition OF ... wouldn't it?

That's a strong accusation, I would think you could post something to back it up as well. Or are you just popping off with personal opinions again?
