    I did state this isn't religious grooming as the parents made the choice to attend. I don't think it belongs in public schools. If the families are Christian and attend this, that's their choice. I don't see any harm to the children for learning faith, love, and patriotism. Apparently those things really get the lefties panties in a bunch.

    If you call this religious grooming, then you can choose not to attend with your children. You wouldn't want them to learn to be good people. Afterall, you are a liberal.

    I was raised in a Christian conservative environment. I saw far more hate there than I ever have among my liberal friends. It isn't even close.

    Those words mean a lot more than simple tolerance and one who actually does and is all of those things will not tolerate actual real injustice. His words are so much more than what you describe.

    Are you asserting that as long as the parent’s consent then it isn’t grooming?

    Teaching children that magical sky fairies exist — that love them unconditionally — but only if they follow specific and subjective rules and if they fail they will burn in a lake of lava for eternity is hardly teaching anyone to be a good person.

    And seeing the quality of vocal “christians” that worship more at the alter of bigotry and removing rights from others than they do in praise of any supernatural being shows that’s a failure.

    It is indoctrinating a single point of view based on some readings of one specific deity

    Teaching religion would be a premise on theology including other beliefs. Not just saying the one we have chosen is the correct one.

    What’s ironic is you people are constantly screaming how others are trying to shove their beliefs where it doesn’t belong while you post every religious right wing article you can find in the CE section.

    I think Kirk Cameron's odd adhere4nce to his mythological culture is almost a disqualifier from him saying anything intelligent.

    Now I say that as there are a great many intelligent, even educated, religious people. The pope himself has a background in chemistry. So almost a disqualifier.

    However, Kirk Cameron's refusal to understand even the most basic and proven scientific theories, including the crocoduck nonsense and the banana divinity claim, really makes me think that anything else that comes out of his gob is going to be the same level of insane bullshit as his mythological beliefs.

    No, it isn't grooming. If it is, then anything you are teaching your children is grooming. Should you not teach them anything right and just hope for the best? If so, I'd hate to deal with your child when they are an adult.
