Tonight, Biden will be on center stage and in the spotlight like no other president before him. Most will not be interested in what he says because he will brag on himself and in the 45-minute speech probably tell 6 to 8 lies. But many will be watching how he delivers the speech. It's obvious he's been out of sight while practicing the speech. Sometimes he reads the teleprompter well and other times he fumbles. We'll see.

Dems will say he did a good job. Repubs will say he did a horrible job. Just like when Trump was president, Repubs would say he did a good job while Dems said he did a horrible job. Moral of the story? You're all hyper-partisan sheep. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

How is this any different than candidate Trump's speech Tuesday. It contained bragging, lies, and in addition personal attacks much like every speech he has given.

Let me make it simple, this speech is different because we have a president in obvious cognitive decline.

I hope he doesn't freeze or fall to pieces. If he does, that will give the Democrats and excuse to dump him.

Gavin Newsom will be hard to beat. It's eight months to election day, and a good number of the young women will spend seven and half months of that telling us how handsome he is with his greased up hair. The trouble is, there is nothing under that hair than harbors any good ideas.

LOL. You could have said a thousand times and it would not be exaggerating. We can look forward to Biden telling us how great things are, how the border is really Republicans fault, we must raise taxes on businesses and the rich to decrease our debt, and that the number one priority is that we must vote to save democracy.

So it really had nothing to do with bragging lying or reading from a teleprompter. Why didn't you say so. As far as cognitive decline is true we can all judge by watching.

That doesn't change the fact that his opponent brags, lies, reads from a teleprompter and calls people names.

Tuesday night Biden's opponent spoke for 25 minutes without a teleprompter and he did just fine. You may have missed it because left wing media outlets are censoring him.

Actually I watched some of it on both Fox and Newsmax. I like to see for myself and not just pick up random bits from the media. He did lie, he did brag, he did call names. I can't say I saw a teleprompter, but he has used one before.

I too hope that Biden stays because I do not believe he can win.

With that being said, Newsom is not unbeatable by any stretch of the imagination. While the media will predictably fawn all over him, a large chunk of this country has a natural fear of a California whackjob politician and he fits that bill precisely. In other words, he will be fairly easy to demonize to the general public. For instance his 2035 mandate that does not allow gas cars to be sold in California after that date will come back to haunt him because it reveals just what a whackjob he really is.

The sad part is most of the population knows nothing about the facts you covered in your second paragraph. If you are fresh out of college, you are brainwashed and support all of the California craziness.

Yeah, Trump has no ego at all and NEVER brags about himself LOL

Meanwhile, Speaker Johnson is having to remind Republicans to behave like a schoolteacher does when expecting a guest speaker.

Biden will probably do well. The Republicans usually find a way to help him do well when they engage him.

Let's start a drinking game where we have to take a sip of an adult beverage every time Biden says "MAGA" or forgets what he's talking about in mid-sentence. Be sure you have designated drivers on call.

Joe 'you lie' Wilson started it under Obama with MTG and Bobert piling on under Biden. At least Nancy waited until it was over. Republicans are nasty, crude, and violent.

No man is perfect. We all have weird personalities. What's important is we will probably have 2 men running for POTUS who have governed our country for several years, thus we should vote the man who is better for the USA.

You can actually place bets on the extent of the gaffes and signs of dementia that appear in Biden's performance in the address. That sounds like some kind of SNL skit or something- but it's true. Of course the Vegas Oddsmakers will be watching, and the betting odds will shift accordingly. We know that Bidens staff don't want him to ever speak off-script again; he's even told reporters that if he does he will get in trouble.... But, Joe has had a tendency to ramble and gets lost easily.

My money says that in a presentation of this length and scope, the odds are Joe will lose his place in the prompter and he will pause trying to find it again. Hesitation as he tries to keep thoughts in line is a given but if he starts trying to fill the gaps, he will go off-script, drift and babble...and ramble. The best they can hope for is to break even. The worst will be a kind of meltdown.

Trump is now far ahead of Biden in the odds, 46.4 against 31.2. That's about 3 to 2 in Trumps favor, like a 60/40 win. I think Biden will drop even further down in the odds than he is now in any case. The speech has little chance of improving his position; big chance of damaging it.

Trump is planning to live-stream his responses point by point, immediately on Truth Social.
Show Time for the Biden speech is 9PM EST.
