Did you note when Nancy Pelosi made a big deal of tearing up Trump's State of the Union address? Now that was really an adult bit of behavior, wasn't it?

Biden is going to announce he wants to spend more of other people's money. Once the corp tax rate goes up, so will the cost of the products and services they sell and we know what that means - more inflation.

    We did it Joe!!!

Joe Biden to propose massive tax raid on super rich and corporate America in tonight's State of the Union address with sweeping hikes including minimum corporate tax up from 15% to 21% and a 25% rate for billionaires

I don't think he is gonna have age issues at the speech. It seems to me like they got his medication right. He seemed pretty coherent the last few times I've seen him speak. The real problem is his policies are destroying America, not his age. If they do make his age a problem then its even worse because we'll get Harris

Unlike most Democrats that go high when Republicans go low, I go lower.

Like i said in other post, Joe Wilson started it all and MTG/Boebert piled on. At least Nancy waited until it was over and Trump finished his speech instead of interrupting. Republicans can't help themselves.

Are you seriously defending the tearing up of the speech? That was one of the most childish things I've seen a politician do. I do not expect that from any politician, especially a 200 year old one. Did you forget how bad it looked? That's OK. I'm here to help! Here is a reminder for you. (try not to get distracted by the handsome fellow on the microphone.

So? I am not defending Joe Wilson for his dumb actions. What's your point? Did that guy really say that about women? Sad. I don't agree with that either. Big difference! You are trying to defend disgusting actions and I'm calling them out!

You are right, I agree 100%, what is best for the country is to look at policies programs etc and not throw out hit pieces truthful or otherwise condemning a candidate for doing the same thing that the candidate you favor does. I am more than happy to talk about issues, problems and solving them but this forum rarely does that any more. All people seem to be able to do is slander, and call names.
Let us all stop being hypocrites and examine issues, policies, and decisions and not whine like adolescent "mean girls"

Have to agree; I thought that was petty, disrespectful and childish, the kind of conduct you might expect from a spoiled 3 year old.

That's a good suggestion, but getting the people who refuse to act with civility to follow it is not within our power. The only way to have a legitimate discussion is to agree on the same base values- and they can't be rubber ones. Everyone's future depends on the nation becoming strong and stable. We should be able to agree on that- but we have people changing the meaning of language so fluidly that such things lose their identity. If you destroy the definition of values or rules, you destroy those things, make them useless- and impossible to discuss rationally.

This is a new phenomenon, attempting to make definitions of stable values negotiable to suit the desires of the person, and blaming feelings and emotions on others who have no control of them at all.
It's immature behavior, but convincing people to grow above it may be impossible- and I'm an optimist. If you know how, a lot of people would like to hear it.

It's possible that we will see a president demolish himself on national TV, in front of Congress and the world.
If he get's lost and starts rambling, he may tell us about the time he spoke to Napolean or something. Could be quite entertaining.
Let's hope he doesn't further embarrass the nation.

I hear that's quite common in the senile. Always angry that they can't quite touch reality.

claiming the state of the union is strong is an expected lie. The state of America is awful right now
