    Oh the
    [IMG]

Once again Republicans create a problem then whine about it.

    https://fortune.com/2024/03/12/why-inflation-high-jerome-powell-says-insurance-climate-change/

Seems the Republican denial of Climate Change has led to more violent weather which has increased the cost of insurance nearly everywhere, A LOT.

Just like their inaction on the Border

Seems Republicans create issues just so they can whine about them.

Feel free to start a thread on the topic of cyclical changes in the climate

I live in FL. Where i currently reside, it used to be under about 40-50 feet of water; then it wasn't

Which is correct? For it to be underwater or above water?

Biden is responsible for lots of things...
    Beating back COVID
    Reducing unemployment by 7%
    Reducing inflation by 5%
Slowing the rate of fentanyl death growth from the disaster Trump created
    Saving Ukraine from Putin
    OH, AND
Kicking Trump's ass out of the White House for good.

How's that insurance doing for you?
Rates growing less than 5% per annum?

This is where the wheels falls off. Democrat Party is not controlled by radical. In 2016 Democrat primary voter nominated Clinton over a self-proclaim socialist. In 2020 Democrats nominated the most moderate candidate. In 2008 Obama picked Biden because Obama needed “moderate” credential and Biden was example of moderate/ bipartisan.

Does the democratic party have a radical left? Yes, we do. But how much power they have? AOC , ilhan omar how much power do you think they have? None. Rashida Tlaib can’t even get a meeting with Biden to talk about Palestine.

I see you brought up border and you think radical democrats are destroying the border. This is a simple fact that Democrats' immigration policy is similar to W Bush's immigration policy which W Bush wanted to pass in 2007. Democratic immigration policy is similar to Reagan's immigration policy. Democrats didn’t move away from moderate immigration policy. It is GOP who moved to radical right. If W Bush's “comprehensive immigration bill of 2007” goes to the Senate today, only Mitt Romney will vote for that bill.

Let us look at the foreign policy- yes, there are radical left who are antisemite as we can see in collage campuses. But the guy in WH, he is so pro-Israel that he might lose Michigan in general election. On the other hand a GOP control house can’t even pass a bill to help Israel in time of war. Can you imagine in 2006 under W Bush, GOP house member refusing to help Israel? Can you imagine under W Bush , GOP house refuse to send support in Ukraine? That’s your party today, not Democrat.

Biden can't "set" the price. He can just "influence" a price as he influenced it to rise by discouraging fracking, issuing fewer drilling licenses, raising taxes on oil from federal lands, stopping pipelines and all the rest of his tactics in his "War On Oil":
    - Biden’s War on Oil Hits Consumers - WSJ
    - Price Tag for Biden’s War on Oil and Gas - IER (instituteforenergyresearch.org)
    - Consumers Pay The Price As Biden’s War On Oil And Gas Expands (forbes.com)

90% of this is beyond ridiculous because none of it accounts for what I posted “greedflation”. Not to mention that Biden had the Pandemic.
How did Biden “keep it so high” ?

America has very simple choice in 2024

Cheaper Gas price ( vote Trump) vs Democracy ( vote Biden)

Let’s see which one American chose.

Inflation increasing because of Biden's "War On Oil" is ridiculous? Increasing the cost of manufacturing anything using oil (like anything plastic) and causing all goods to increase in price because of fuel to transport them has skyrocketed is "ridiculous"? It's pretty much obvious and common sense.

Biden kept prices high by increasing taxes on oil from federal lands, stopping pipelines, issuing fewer drilling licenses, discouraging fracking and all the other tactics described in these sample articles:
    - Price Tag for Biden’s War on Oil and Gas - IER (instituteforenergyresearch.org)
    - Consumers Pay The Price As Biden’s War On Oil And Gas Expands (forbes.com)

gas price is very high since Biden took office , but American people don't care because they don't want insurrectionist GOP to lead this country. Election after election American people sending a signal to GOP - change your policy, yet GOP can't even read " writing on the wall"

GOP lost 8 consecutive years – 20017,2018,2019,2020,2021,2022,2023 and 2024 , if GOP thinks they should run with same policy and same candidate.

GOP lost special election in 2017.
GOP lost Mid-term election in 2018.
GOP Lost Governor race in Kentucky NOV 2019
GOP Lost Presidential election in 2020.
GOP lost special election in 2021 and lost 2 Senate positions in GA.
GOP Lost anti-abortion law in KS AUG 2022.
GOP lost Senate and two GOV in mid-term 2022 election. Red wave became oh well.
GOP lost special election in 2023 – In Wisconsin , Liberal judge won state wide election .
GOP Lost special election ( Issue 1) in Ohio in 2023
GOP Lost Governor race in Kentucky NOV 2023
GOP lost banning abortion in Ohio in NOV 2023
GOP lost entire Virginia legislative branch in NOV 2023.
GOP lost special election in Feb 2024 in NY.

Again, you’ve been shown there was no “war on oil” by Biden”.

But since you claim that, be very specific and show us which Biden policy created those increased gas prices, because I have shown in many threads where gas prices were not Bidens fault.

Government is never responsible for growth; only the degree in which growth is hindered. Current core inflation is 3.75%. This does not include food and energy. Limousine liberals love to say "Its no biggie". Those Dems claim to care about the most are worse off.

Memes are great. Why think for ones self when it has already been done for you? While I am not a fan of Republicans, I can't help but notice that Dems do not live by their own beliefs. Living here in Los Angeles, I see them commuting in their single occupancy vehicles while the buses and trains run empty, and notice how they love some drive thru on their way. Did you know that raising livestock for food produces more greenhouse gases than cars? Are you a vegan?

It does not matter what political clothes Biden was wearing in the 2020 primaries. He is a radical leftist now.

If Biden met with Tlaib, he would lose almost all of the Jewish vote. His handlers aren't that stupid.

Yep, Republican presidents who have been out of office for almost 35 and 15 years respectively wanted to implement Biden's current open borders policy with millions of aliens, including terrorists and criminals, steaming across it. Orwellian thought is alive and well.

Yep! The Republicans suck. There is no denying it. You don't know how depressing the state of the country is now to me. I guess now is the time to change parties to the one below.

And yet renowned economists like Catherine Austin Fitts say that this "3.2%" inflation number is complete fantasy. On an all-too-brief interview I heard her say that the REAL inflation rate in the U. S. right now is between 6% - 9.5%.

And, NO, that doesn't mean that this is Biden's "fault"... because it's based on trends and economic facts that are much bigger than any one administration. Every political faction 'cooks the books' when they get the chance!

The unfortunate thing is that for many years, the Federal Reserve System central bank has run the economy, and it chooses to exclude from its inflation calculations anything it doesn't WANT to include. Things that people have to BUY... like fuel, houses, food, etc., etc. To this central bank consortium, individual political factions are just different hand-puppets that they put on -- we saw this in stark reality with both "W" Bush and Obama, and this klatch of corrupt bankers continue to run the "show" to this day.

Odd that you would use that as an example considering your party claims that more taxes can control the climate. The truth is that Dems control abundant resources handed over under the guise of improving the lives of the poor and low income. Results show the opposite. If Dems have no control, why should they take more money?
