    HYPERLINK has full article

    snip

The Labor Department said Tuesday that the consumer price index, a broad measure of the price of everyday goods including gasoline, groceries and rent, rose 0.4% in February from the previous month. Prices climbed 3.2% from the same time last year.

    end snip

Good folks continue to feel the squeeze and fall further behind financially. Hopefully things will change so folks can try and catch up.

Oh, don't bother going to NPR, ABC or MSNBC looking for reports about inflation; you won't find any.

This is the result of POTUS' disregard of a global pandemic, call it a hoax and say “ it will go away when weather get hot”.

Trump was so incompetent , he did absolutely nothing in 2020. No leadership from USA , no coordination between the countries. Trump sat in WH and blame this , blame that and f%%% around.

We had pandemic in the past and USA took the lead. But Trump the P*** grabbing insurrectionist did nothing.

Now after 4 years , we are paying the price.

Wages are up 4.3% year over year in 2/24. Thus, wage growth still outpaces inflation. I wonder why you didn't report this.

    https://www.cnbc.com/2024/03/08/jobs-report-february-2024-us-job-growth-totaled-275000.html

In any case, the experts always said that getting back inflation to normal was not going to be a linear path, and that there would be bumps. In addition, the last step from 3% to 2% annual inflation rate was going to be the hardest. There are really no surprised here.

The inflation is the direct result of Trump’s incompetency. Yes it does take 3 years to impact inflation.

So nothing is biden's fault. Does he plan to take responsibility for anything and become president at some point during his term?

In a vacuum sure. In reality… this is another 3.% added on to the previous high as crap inflation. It’s not going up as fast as it was, but still is high.

This is what happens when Republicans are voted in the House and care more about Hunter's dick pics rather than helping struggling American families.

Thankfully they will be voted out of the majority come November.

Lower inflation doesn't mean prices go down. It just means the prices aren't rising as fast as before. That $5/lb ribeye that went to $18/lb under Biden won't get any cheaper with less inflation, it just won't triple in price again so fast.

    Inflation is an economic result.

Knowing this, what needs to happen to the economy for inflation to be below 2%.... or 0%?

    The Federal Reserve

In 2021, tell me how would you have prevented a record breaking sales of used vehicles when the Fed Funds Rate was at near zero percent?

    AND inflationary;

2021’s average price of used vehicles; $27,000
2020’s average price of used vehicles; $21,000

You didnt think the costs of a groceries was driven by market forces did you ? Unless the population grew by that same amount

Biden's runaway inflation was caused by his WAR ON OIL:
    - Price Tag for Biden’s War on Oil and Gas - IER (instituteforenergyresearch.org)
    - Consumers Pay The Price As Biden’s War On Oil And Gas Expands (forbes.com)
    - Biden’s War on Oil Hits Consumers - WSJ
    - Biden Opens New Fronts In His War On U.S. Oil And Gas (forbes.com)
    - The Strange Outcomes of Biden’s War on Fossil Fuels - WSJ
    - Joe Biden's war on oil and reckless economic policies have imperiled national security (nypost.com)

Anything that has to be put in a truck and driven to market goes up in price.
Everything using oil for manufacture (like everything plastic) goes up in price

None of those inflation rates you listed is the US’s rate. So why are you veering off topic? You do understand that this number is out with the previous numbers? So it’s 3.2% inflation on top of whatever it was last month, and the month before, and the month before.
