Biden got stated when he shut down the Keystone Pipeline and doubled down on that when he cut back on oil leases on Federal land. All of that raised oil prices. Higher energy prices flow through to everything.

Then Biden doubled down with his trillion dollar spending bills. These things cause inflation, which prompted the Federal Reserve to raise interest rates which made mortgages much more expensive. Housing cost went up. More inflation.

Your guy owns it. You need to find creative ways to dance around it.

3.2% is inflation under control in a growing economy.

Under Trump there was no growth and therefore no inflation.

 

Under Trump, the Democrats controlled Congress for the last 2 years and governors in Democratic Party states shut down the economy during the coronavirus pandemic.

Didn't Trump spend $8 trillion in his four years? I am just wondering, why does he get a pass and Biden doesn't? Did the deficit money he injected into the economy just magically disappear in January of 2021?

Dems had the House in Trump's last two years, but not the Senate. So, according to this line of argument, current inflation is owned by the GOP, since they control the House. Yes or no?

In any case, these partisan games are SOO silly. Did Biden contribute to inflation with his 2021 COVID bill and infrastructure package? Absolutely. Did those two bills cause ALL of inflation from 2021 going forward? Absolutely not. As we can see from worldwide numbers, ALL developed countries are battling inflation, which was caused by the supply chain issues, as well as some of their own stimulus packages.

Now, for those that think Trump is the savior here. 1) Inflation is a lagging economic indicator. It lags policy by 1 - 1 1/2 years. Therefore, some of the 2021 inflation was already baked in from the Trump years, no matter who won the WH in 2020. 2) Trump promised that he would sign the 2021 COVID stimulus, if elected, he would have even increased it. His words, not mine. Therefore, it is unlikely that inflation would have been any better is Trump had been reelected. Of course, if that had been the case, MAGA would be all on the defensive, claiming that inflation was not Trump's fault and the Dems would scream about Trumpflation. 3) What is Trump going to do about inflation if he gets elected in November? Another tax cut that "pays for itself"? Yep, that will do it.....

 

We know how much maga needs the country to fail and our institutions be discredited in order to help trump, but the economy isn’t following the maga chicken little script, eh?

You completely ignore the 275,000 jobs added to the economy in February - ahead of expectations.
