    WOW…GREAT POST !!!!!

The right has moved SOOOOOOO far to the right now that the center seems “radical” to them. I just had this conversation yesterday with a good friend who is a total Trumper (he’s still my best friend and we can have civil conversations), but even he admits that Trump cant win in 2024.

I dont think Trump moved America to the right, I think Trump just emboldened the party to take radical positions and to “seen” as moving right. Trump has been a ridiculous bloviator his entire life, and he just gets more ridiculous as he ages. But the scary part, and the watershed here is that he exposed many on the right for who they are, and their radical ideals. Don’t fool yourself folks, there ARE many on the right who would install Trump as a dictator tomorrow if they really had a path to do that.

Personally, I think most “Trumpers” dont love Trump as much as they hate liberals. I think a lot of trumpism is that they get to stick it to “liberals”. In 20 years when historians look back at this period, they are going to write about how close we as a society came to another civil war. And in 5 years, (Presidential Records Act) when the public gets access to what really happened in the Trump administration, I think the public is going to be absolutely flabbergasted at some of the things Trump tried to , or wanted to do….

I suspect easily half of what you claim can be shown to be false with a simple Google search.

Fentanyl deaths going down sounds extremely suspicious.... Let's assume it's true..... How do you think Biden is remotely responsible for it?

Your reply to post 2 in post 4
Post 2 blamed Trump and why and you dismissed that because of the time line of where we are now which is the Biden administration If you're not blaming Biden, what point are you making?

Every DNC POTUS is radical lefty to GOP. Same old things.

You know why your party Suck? It's because GOP failed to keep character like Ted Cruz, Michael Buckman, Sarah Palin, and Jan Brewr out of GOP. These are the crazy extremist destroyed your party. But back in 2009 “ take my country back from Obama the socialist” was more important. While Crazy Buckman and Sarah Palin paved the way for crazy Trump and MTZ.

Now you admit your party sucks, yet you make up things like ‘Biden handler”. Biden is the POTUS with the most powerful military in history, you think he has a handler in Ovel office telling him "Do this or do that or we will put knife through your chest", is that how you visualize when you say Biden's handler?

They are your claims. It's not my fault if you don't want to provide some evidence

I merely stated facts. I live in Los Angeles. (The Dems petri dish) I don't need memes and pics to state the obvious. Los Angeles is known for extremely congested freeways.

One would think that liberal-land would be full of people carpooling and riding the buses and trains. I don't fault people for not using public transportation. Its not safe here.

I also notice that the drive thru is always busy here. Especially In-and-out burger. The line is a block long.

Your party claims to care about the environment, but I just don't see many Dems walking the walk. Are you a Vegan?

No you generalized for 100 million Americans

"Dems do not live by their own beliefs. Living here in Los Angeles, I see them commuting in their single occupancy vehicles "

Then accused me of doing the same.

    Hypocrisy?

the part in bold- I think the thread is quite clear. Inflation continues and folks are hurting

As to the Democrat voter who felt that after 3-1/6 years that the former POTUS should be blamed, that's silly. I understand the need for some to wave their Democrat pom poms. It's no different than cheering for your team. The reality is that folks are hurting. Until such time as agreement can be had on that sad reality, we the people will just continue to bicker among ourselves and DC will laugh at us and continue to play us for fools.

I made no such sweeping generalization. While some Dems walk the walk, the total sum of the party is still in the negative on this issue. You, on the other hand, used the sweeping generalization fallacy when describing Republicans. You are right to criticize them, but if you are a Dem, you are not pointing with clean hands.

I made no such accusation. For all I know, you are a bicycle-riding Vegan. Are you?

On the topic of hating ones own countrymen, you are right to criticize, but are not pointing with clean hands. Can you name one Rep policy you consider extreme?

I often hear people supporting trump being referred to as cult-like. This post appears to be above that level of devout partisanship.

Still think climate and weather are the same huh?
Just because politicians can’t control global inflation doesn’t mean they can’t help poor people find their next meal or help provide a roof over their head. Don’t help the poor if you can’t solve ALL their problems is a lazy take.

    Yes, it is absolutely ridiculous.

Inflation was and still is (outside the US) a global phenomena, directly caused by the collapse of teh supply chain during Covid, starving stores of goods to sell and driving up prices.

The supply chain has mostly recovered and the inflation rate dropped with it.

Biden never increased taxes on anything. This bit about Biden increasing taxes on oil from Federal land is something you made up.

Gas prices are what they were 14 years ago.

Politicians with dollar signs in their eyes think its the same thing!

I am all for helping the poor. Results show if something is helping or making things worse.

Ah! Trump also resorts to cheap tactics like mocking. Perhaps he admires him enough to emulate him.

Not if Biden raises taxes on the oil as it comes out of the ground on federal lands. We can produce unlimited amounts of oil, but if Biden keeps raising taxes on it... it won't get cheaper.

Gee, other countries GDP does not seem to be the topic. The US’s is however. And while it only went up 3.2%, that’s on top of all the previous inflation we have experienced.

Think of it like a balloon. Starts out small. Then it gets inflated. Then it gets a little bigger. And bigger. And bigger. The balloon is large, and this 3.2% makes it bigger.

I will ignore your personal attack for now. I’m not above reporting those things, so…..

I don't care about inflation in Sri Lanka. I care about inflation in the US of A.

Biden sure as hell DID raise taxes (royalties") on oil from federal lands and reduced drilling leases:
    - Biden increases oil royalty rate and scales back lease sales on federal lands : NPR
    - Biden increases oil royalty rate, scales back lease sales | AP News
    - Biden Administration Moves to Raise the Cost of Drilling on Federal Lands - The New York Times (nytimes.com)
    - Biden increases crude oil royalty rate, scales back leases - Los Angeles Times (latimes.com)
    - Biden increases oil royalty rate and scales back lease sales on federal lands | Georgia Public Broadcasting (gpb.org)
    - Biden wants oil companies to pay much more to drill on federal lands - The Washington Post

GET IT? NEED A FEW MORE?

Average US gas price in 2010 - $2.84
Average US gas price today - $3.32

    He was mimicking Trump nation.

Friends of mine who are Trump supporters have posted the exact same thing, with only one word change.

More than once, I might add.

The evangelical crowd is especially inclined to think Trump is the new Jesus.
