There is a difference between high prices and devaluation of the currency. The main reason we have to pay more dollars for everything we buy is that the dollar continues to decline in value as federal government expands the money supply. What the FED is doing doesn't address that and that is why it isn't working. The FED is just making matters worse by increasing the cost of borrowing.
