If you want to have a discussion about the merits of Islam so be it, but you do yourself no favors by defending one religion and maligning another.

Of course, I am glad that your pre-occupation is that I need to call someone else to task? There are plenty of Muslim bashers on the forum, and quite frankly, most are beyond reason.

And when it comes to Islam and violence, well, we are kinda fighting against some Muslims who DO have a violent interpretation of Islam. The trick is not to bash Christianity, its to show how most of the Muslim world rejects that kind of Islam every bit as much as we do.

There is nothing in our faith that requires us to belittle someone else's faith. What you do to Muslims is the equivalent of sayng Christians worship wood - because most crosses are made of wood.

Indeed, Jesus himself spent time with sinners and preached the message that all men are equal before God, equally loved. Most Muslims agree.

That being said, there are some bad ones out there, but then, we've got our IRA and the Church of Jesus Christ Christian (The neo-Nazi Church) ... not too mention the Westboro Baptist Church. We should not be condeming all Muslims any more than we should condem all Hindus or Buddhists - its silly. We call those to task who cross a line between disagreement and use violence - just like we do with our Christian brothers who cross the line.
