I like the part about 3,000 new houses and $120 million returned to Israel. Ambassadors will be summoned, hot air will be released, a show of indignation will be staged for the benefit of your ilk... and new homes for Israeli families will be built.

Oh and I could not care less about the new Palestinian statehood status, their lives won't improve an iota until they are willing to live peacefully side by side with Israel.

No, you are wrong there. These buildings clearly show that no two state is possible, that Israel has no intentions on there being two states. While the UK probably is unlikely to recall their ambassador immediately, there is no question that this is a step too far. There is going to be some kind of response and the hope is do this collectively. Sanctions on settlements are being spoken of and I think Holland and Germany have been speaking about not supporting Israel any more at the UN ....and that is just when Israel is talking about building these houses. If she tries, by that time......

Your are being foolish if you think this is hot air. It is not. It is yet to be seen whether Obama will join in with the EU, but they are all on the phone trying to work out a collective strategy.

Oh good - football and politics, rolled into one thread.

Well, for one thing, UEFA and FIFA have spent a lot of time and money 'figthing racism', in the game, and while this may appear commendable, it is lip service for as long as they (inexplicably) let the Jewish racist state of Israel enter their teams in EUROPEAN competitions. Now, Israel whine..'but no one else wants to play us'. Tough titty. Not our problem. Maybe if you behaved with some more morals, you would not be a pariah, and others would play you. Anyway, it still ain't our problem, go play against a Mitt Romeny XI, the AIPAC All Stars, and the JDL.

Apart from that, who really wants to host teams whose players (being that they were/are IDF), may have murdered a child, last week, or sported a 'one shot two kills t shirt'. It's not normal that you have to think that the 'footballers' running out on the park, and being hosted by your country, may be little more than that. Third, there is a security issue. I do not consider Israel to be a secure and safe enough play. The safety and security of the visiting team should be paramount importance, to UEFA. Fourth - for every non EUROPEAN team from the racist state, a team from Europe is denied a place. Fifth, there is a security issue the other way, as well. To be honest, whatever one's motives are (and they are often different), Israel are hated. For all their PR and crap, they are hated, and given that football has ALWAYS had a political sub culture, way too complex to fully explain, I have seen Maccabi Tel Aviv go to play the likes of Legia Warsaw (whose fans are among the hardest in Europe, and not to be messed with easily), and they got a hostile response. Indeed, to wind Israel up, they unfurled a large 'Legia Jihad' banner, which was later dismissed as not being 'anti semitic'. I have often seen Palestine flags being sported by fans of various European clubs, esp, but not always, when an Israeli team are in the city.

We even had a situation ( I could see this coming though), in which Spurs played Lazio, a couple of weeks ago. Now, to give this context, let me tell you that Spurs have always been seen as the 'Jewish club', and while I must point out that they do not really have a massive % of Jews in their support, nor a Jewish players only policy, for some reason, they have always had that mantle. For decades. So much so, that their hooligan gang go by the name of 'Yid Army', and fly the occult flag, at games, on occasion.

Lazio, due to historical reason, do have a fair number of fans whose politics would be akin to classic Italian fascism. So I could see this going 'well', when the two met, in Roma.:new:

What the global media did pay ALL attention to was Lazio fans chating 'Juden Tottenham', and that there were some assaults before and after the game, for which Lazio got all the blame for. What they do not bother to tell you is that several hundred of the so called 'Yid Army' went there, specifically seeking trouble, and they got it.

Yes, well put. I was wondering what sort of a land the EU was thinking would offer a viable state for the Palestinians. However, this is something they just cannot pretend they do not see.

I am pretty sure Clinton did stop them going off on their Cast Lead 2 in Gaza. I heard them on BBC News live, before they censure it, saying that now that Clinton had said that to Israel, it simply could not do a ground invasion. (missed what that was)

Israel just seems to be acting in such a childish and self destructive way like the adolescent child. You say I can't do that so I will show you...and to such a point there is no place left for anyone to turn a blind eye. She has always known that settlement in E1 was the one thing the EU would not take. She has apparently 'called their bluff'. Developments await.

to be honest you never know what is going on in the schizophrenic minds of the American White House but I would guess that she either told them she would stop that weeks welfare check or warned them that Egypt Turkey and Qatar and the Arab League meant business finally and figured out Morsi was no Mubarak.
That's why they backed off from slaughtering another 400 kids and had to settle for 40 this time

Let them get away with everything they wanted, for too long. Now they are a punk assed teen, anti social, aggressive, and a bully.

They need the political = of the 'short sharp shock'.

Who says they don't, jew?.....you assume that because they didn't sign, that is true?....LOL....guess again. People don't like to criticize Israel because very often that is a career ending move.......you'd DIE if you knew how many are out there sickened in silence by those murdering bastids.

I am pretty sure it was the bolded one. They were concerned that all hell could be let loose and also concerned as they have an interest in having decent relations with same.

In order to do that, they would first need to empty out all the 'dual nationality' (but NOT dual loyalty), Zionist traitors, in their body politic.

Then they would need to make IPAC and it's 7500 paid agents register as foreign.

I'm sure Bibi would feel that any offer of a hand at this moment in time would be welcome.

I think it is generally understood to be a given that she is a war criminal, apologetics notwithstanding. The former UK diplomat Craig Murray has publicly and in no uncertain terms openly referred to her as a war criminal, for example and there are many others. I don't think that particular war criminal, alongside Bliar, will be suing in the courts for defamation of character anytime soon.
