Are they a gullible idiot because they blow themselves up? Yes. Or because they believe differently than you? Yes.
Some gullible's believe Saul the persecutor speaks for Jesus, even though he contradict Jesus.
Some gullible's believe the bible is really history, prophecy, and the law. Foolish isn't it?

Maybe the Christians shouldn't have believed in ghosts, demons, angels, and resurrections like the Pharisees did. Protestants don't believe in the Pope but they are still Christians like the Catholics are, aren't they? Various muslim sects have different beliefs but they are still muslims. Jewish sects have different beliefs but they are all Jews. Mormons and Seventh Day Adventists have different beliefs but they are still considered to be Christians.

I don't know why your abstract logic amuses me. You first need to understand the Jewish Orthodox beliefs. The Pharisees were Jewish they were not Christians. Protestants recognize the pope as the leader of the Catholic church, and that he and other Catholics are Christians. You mentioned Seventh day Adventist, know them well, went to their schools, and they are Christians but confused ones in my opinion. Now the Mormon pledge their allegiance to Joseph Smith and most orthodox Christians do not consider them Christians at least orthodox believers. That would be like saying anyone that has a PHD is a medical doctor. Now how foolish would that be?

I am afraid that is simply not true. We believe he is a prophet. Our allegiance is with God the Eternal Father and His Son Jesus Christ. I challenge you to find anyone who is an active Mormon who worships Joseph Smith or thinks he is God. To say Mormons pledge themselves to a mere man is not only ludicrous, its blind ignorance.

If you wish to debate Mormonism with me this isn't the place to do it. I do understand that my point was an exaggeration, but your beliefs don't fit mainstream theology, but don't get too offended, many consider me a heretic because I realize that the early church fathers were no different the Joseph Smith or Brigham Young, they were human and humans make mistakes. One thing you did get right, polygamy isn't a sin, of course Young coward to the political pressure and decided to prohibit it. You see this denominational separation of those of us that believe Christ is the messiah does nothing but ad fuel to atheist and agnostic arguments, sometimes us Christians are are own worst enemies.
