Trump arrives in Saudi Arabia - No Bowing

Bet if Trump ever goes to Cuba and Raul isn't at the airport to meet him Trump would not even get off the plane. For that matter the Chinese and the Saudis as well as Cuba felt free to snub Obama. It nice to see a US president once again getting the respect he deserves from foreign leaders

Saudi papers saying he bowed. Also how many times did he mention radical Islam?

 

What was so great about it? What did he say that wasn't said by Pres. Obama and Pres. Bush.

 

The fact that the imbecile can follow some type of scripted action was made obvious in his dumbed-down realty show.

I actually Like Tai-Pan a lot as it is a quick easy read and gives a lot of historical background to that region. I finished Gai-Jin a few months ago and it was a brutal read. Nowhere near as interesting as the other works I noted earlier.

Watch Toby Keith Play An All-Male Show In Saudi Arabia During Trump’s Visit

The president reportedly caught some of the show remotely.

Toby Keith performed a concert for an audience of men in Saudi Arabia during President Donald Trump’s diplomatic visit on Saturday.


Keith, author of a song parenthetically titled “The Angry American,” performed the free show alongside Saudi singer Rabeh Saqer in the nation’s capital, Riyadh, on a stage lined with red, white and blue lights and American flags.


Some in attendance captured photos and video of the “historic” event to share on social media.


Keith played some of his own material, including the song “Should’ve Been A Cowboy,” in addition to some instrumental music with Saqer.

An Associated Press reporter stated on Twitter that Trump caught part of the show ― as he and first lady Melania Trump did a “slow roll” past a live stream in a golf cart. (The White House travel pool also caught the performance, reporter Julie Pace noted.)


In Riyadh, Trump’s visit was promoted with billboards sporting his face next to that of King Salman on highways lined with Saudi and American flags.


Trump’s visit to Saudi Arabia is his first overseas trip since taking office. He is scheduled to meet with leaders of Muslim countries to discuss relations. So far, he has reportedly kept to his talking points and discussed job creation between Saudis and the U.S.


The president is also set to visit Israel, the Vatican, Belgium and Italy.


Some on Twitter had previously observed that Keith, author of songs “I Love This Bar” and “Drunk Americans,” was an unexpected choice to perform in the highly conservative Saudi Arabia, which forbids alcohol and prevents unrelated men and women from mingling in public. The country singer is known for inserting strongly pro-American themes in his music.

Citing his “duty” to perform for his country, Keith sang at Trump’s inaugural ceremony in January. Later, he told CNN that he “hate politics” and “we’ve never had a leader in this country that I agreed with across the board on everything they do.”


“It seems like we get divided more and more all the time,” he told the outlet.

We do need to be more careful about bombing civilians but at least we aren't targeting civilians.

 

Ridiculous! All the Saudis are interested in is getting the arms contract from Trump. All Trump is interested in is getting the arms contract to grow his wealth!

In the mean time, that arm contract is going to lead to more death of innocent people. .and maybe even our own people.

Trump is for sale. . .and the whole world knows it. This is why so many dictators and the worse kind of government are so happy to have him as "President!" They know they can buy the US through Trump: Not only arms, but also the moral fibre of the US.

And that is sad!

The Saudis, Chinese, Israelis, and Russians (and a few others, mostly dictators) KNOW Trump is only interested in his own wealth and in feeding his narcissistic needs. They do not believe he is smart. . .that's WHY they like him, they know they can USE HIM!

What Trump has accomplished diplomatically is to create CHAOS and arm more people who can bring about WWIII!

That's all the self proclaimed "greatest job creator in history" did in his first 100 days? BTW, any normal GOP candidate would have "installed" a conservative judge to the SCOTUS. Even the EVIL Jeb Bush would have done that. And considering that Trump once remarked that he would have liked his liberal sister to be on the SCOTUS...I'd say that Pence was likely the one responsible for Gorsuch. Trump, since he's the president, just took credit for it. It was basically his "gift" to the right wing lemmings who voted for him.
