Iran certainly was not for the first few decades when the US was getting sanctions against Iran building nukes. She was not. Now I am not denying she may be ready for them now but that is very much having been pushed into that situation where like I thought if she did not she would be a fool. Of course it is also possible that knowing that they are the end of the world, Iran has made alternative arrangements. She must in any case have made the very best. There's no doubt Iran will get nukes, but it won't be so bad because the crazy mullahs will be out of office. A modern, Western-style democracy will allow Iran to integrate with the rest of the world.

What makes you so sure?

The nuke "deal" allowed iran to block inspections at many sites all over the country, and given how practically every dictatorship in the last 100 years has cheated on such deals (USSR, north korea, etc) what makes you think one of the worst regimes in history isn't doing so here?

Arab nationalism is no worse than Jewish Nationalism or even German nationalism.

 

Maybe if iran hadn't surrounded Israel with proxy terrorist groups and incited massive amounts of terrorism against Israel, denied the Holocaust, and shouted daily how it is going to destroy Israel, then Israel would not want to attack iran - who is not even a neighbor of the country.

 

Do you know the difference between Nuclear weapons and nuclear power? Iran has needed the latter since Eisenhower's Atoms for Peace program. At that time the US was training Iran's nuclear technicians.

 

Israel is not blameless.. Perhaps they should have treated the native Palestinians like human beings instead of taking their land and civil rights.
