They don't compare riots when trying a person for what THEY did in a riot.

Well that's appropriate seeing as how what they did was a crime and they are apparently guilty.

100%. There would be no pictures of them barricading themselves in with guns drawn but not fired. No senators opening secure doors. No Capitol police opening barriers.

There would have been rows of body bags and that is only IF the FBI had allowed it to get that far and shut it down before it was able to become an issue.

The worst attack on a Federal Building in my life time was the blowing up of the Murrow Building in Oklahoma City by the white supremacist Timothy McVeigh, which killed 168 people. My guess is that if 10-12 people had been shot by the Capitol Police OUTSIDE the Capitol, the break-in would have never occurred. With the exception of Babbitt, so far the rioters have gotten off fairly easily. I suspect the tougher sentences are still to come and will involve property destruction, injuries, and more severe charges...possibily even sedition.

Ah those nutters aren't my team. No one has yet to prove to me there was a mass stolen election. And even the 11th hour judicial activism issues which I oppose still resulted in lawful American votes so cant say Americans didn't make their choice. I just don't see the 'stop the steal' people as being on par with a nation wide domestic terror brand. They would have a long, long way to go to rise to that level.

This was the policing for a BLM protest at the Capitol.

These folks were not the only people questioning an election. The left did their usual thing in more than 150 cities.

The March for Truth was a nationwide protest that occurred on Saturday, June 3, 2017, calling for a fair and impartial investigation into possible connections between Russia and President Donald Trump's campaign and administration. Demonstrations were scheduled to place in Washington, D.C., and more than 100 additional cities;[1] publicly called for events in more than 150 US cities. Scheduled speakers included Javier Muñoz and Jill Wine-Banks, as well as other actors and musicians.[1]

Obviously, they caused some delay...probably measured in minutes, not hours. All, I suppose, were there legally and had seats, either through their Congressional representatives or being first in line as Capitol visitors. Unlike on January 6th, the Capitol was open and visitors were allowed to the hearing.

Symbolically, if not in actual destruction and violence, this was the worst attack on our country in my lifetime. The photos and videos will be used by our country's enemies for years to come.

    Of course.

They broke down the doors of the Capitol to visit.

They are literally trying to steal the election through phony audits.

I agree they are not on par — the BLM rioters fell into one of two camps, they wanted police reform for systematic racial injustice or they wanted to case destruction / free TV’s. The “stop the steal” people are much more dangerous as they have one message, the destruction of our democracy.

Wow. I’ve never seen that before.

That’s disgusting compared to what they did for the red caps.

And let's apply the same standards to ALL protestors who engage in violence and attacks on government property AND private property. Don't you agree?

Did you get lost again or was the question too difficult? Confronting your cognitive biases is a great way to grow mentally.

I don't care what you discussed about it this is about the protestors who stormed the capital in interfered with that process. Are you trying to say that if you agree with them then it's alright but if not they should be arrested.

Stop trying to iminalize it, they STORMED the capital to stop the proceeding and yes the members had to leave and one was trapped at the elevator.

You do when they are Trump supporters

Strange seeing how you posted “you were discussing it back them”. Seems you very much care what I discussed

Except they didn’t storm the building I don’t believe as another poster indicated visitors were allowed in. They were arrested, correct?

Again, if they interfered in the testimony I hope they were arrested, and they were…

Do you have a source for this? Were any of them CHARGED with storming the capital because my right wing friends are telling me if no one was charged it didn’t happen???

Can you show me where I have ever been against peaceful protest from trump supporters? Bet you a $250 donation to PF that you cannot. Deal?

You have responded to three separate posters over three pages since you asked for the definition and provided it including asking me “Huh? Am I missing something?”

If you don’t want to answer because it damages your prior positions I understand

AFAICT, the man going to prison for 8 months didn't break down any doors.

The stop the steal folks are one and done. blm had countless riots and caused billions in damage. And if you think they won’t do it again you’re probably mistaken.
