I very clearly said "Made up numbers".

Those numbers were provided in order to illustrate a concept rather than convey an actual number.

Not that it matters in regards to my post, but I was talking specifically about consumption of mass market domestic beer. The graphic that you provided was overall beer consumption. Young people these days are drinking a lot craft beer, IPA's etc.

If you are honestly that interested, I would suggest looking here for mass market domestic beer consumption patterns. The 34 and under crowd, only accounts for about 31% of all mass market domestic lite beer consumption. Going as high as 34 also goes higher than what I was calling young, so in truth, the number would be lower if we limited it to under 30. It is also worth noting that this was from 2007, and the trend since that time has been a significant one in the direction of craft beer and the like. On top of that, young people today drink far less than previous generations.

As far as your larger point, we are in 100% agreement. It was a complete marketing fail.

 

If you owned stock, it's worth over 12% less than it was before Bud Light became Tranny Fluid.
