I have a new prediction. Or, maybe a secret hope. I don't think either Trump or Biden will be on the ticket come November. Which means Nikki takes on a whole new import, eh?
Nikki is not even doing well in the polls in South Carolina, her home state. The Trump curse is alive and well. His cult as a death wish for the Republican Party.
How long did it take Haley/staff to come up with these so-called insults that are supposed to make her look tough on Trump? Someone needs to tell Haley that Presidential historians have a long list before getting to "thin'skinned""easily distracted" and "weak in the knees on Ukraine". "Nikki Haley said Thursday that history will remember former President Donald Trump in a 100 years from now as 'thin-skinned and easily distracted' read https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/ar...-Ukraine-direct-attack-rival-rises-polls.html
Well, she keeps moving up in the polls, and she got the democrats attention when a poll showed she is the only Republican who can clearly beat Biden. 49% to 43%. And even though she's still in single digits, she's moved to either 3rd or 4th among Republican candidates, beating out Pence, Christy, Scott, Hutchinson and Hurd. If (when) Trump drops or gets dropped, that puts her in 2nd or third with DeSantis the only real threat. Ramaswamy should start dropping in the polls any time, his used car salesman personality is starting to wear thin. Still a long time to the RNC convention next summer.
As in white male? By no means, those are not qualifications. but there are many real qualifications. I like Haley, and her polling more than doubled in Iowa. Good for her. DeSaster nose-dived 13 points in New Hampshire. She is not black. What are you talking about? Her parents are Indian, and Indians are Caucasians.
No, Haley is not black. Shooter's bad. She is of Indian heritage however. You know, not white. If she won the election it would probably cause a few strokes among the Democrats. Until they could play up the fact that she ain't black.
The Democrat leadership is very critical of any minority person who does not support them. Biden’s comment, “If you don’t support me, you ain’t Black,” was an example of the unvarnished truth about the attitudes of the Democrat Party. Biden’s brain is too far gone. He can’t control what he might say. That’s why “The Easter Bunny” must come in and rescue him before he says something embarrassing or stupid.
I don't know what you are trying to say, but who cares what Dems think? They will vote for Dem candidate no matter what, and Pubs will vote for theirs. Independents will vote for whoever they think is best, and I think Nikki is becoming their favorite
This should show you the weakness of polls: they are but a snapshot, in time. How applicable they are to future developments, depend on assuming that opinions remain static. But as we know, and are now seeing, people's opinions do change, especially when those opinions had been given before they'd become fully formed-- as was the case with people supporting DeSantis, before they knew much about him. Recent polls have suggested that Ron D. is already beginning to fade, and that Haley is gaining steam. While Haley would represent the best chances for a GOP victory, I still believe, however, the Republican base will stick with Trump. The only thing I could imagine possibly changing this, would be a Trump conviction; however, the Primary is likely to have been decided, before any criminal verdicts have been reached.
Quite serious. The Democrats, except the delusional ones, don't want that bumbling demented old man embarrassing them for another 4 years. At this point however they a) don't have an alternative and b) Dare not put serious resistance out against Biden because it would fatally erode what little tiny teensy bit of support he has. The very best Biden can hope for is to be the place holder for whoever is his Vice President this time, hopefully not Hillary. Cause if Hillary got the VP slot it's odds on that Biden wouldn't make it through January. Probably slip on a banana peel or choke on a cherry or something. The most likely scenario is that he is impeached and cuts a deal to leave without any formal charges. A Nixon deal, if you will. The Republicans cannot afford to carry Trump's baggage. As good a job as Trump did for his four years, the pompous gas bag simply cannot keep his filter in and there is simply too much baggage there. If, and it's a huge IF Trump is convicted in Florida the Republicans can use that as the reason to hold him off the ballot. In my opinion the rest of the charges are as bogus as an extended car warranty. Plus, there are a whole armload of viable alternatives; DeSantis if that's a flavor you like, Pence if strong ethics and moral character are your prime requirements for the job, Haley because she has both the foreign relations and government experience and as a plus is a woman. Imagine the Democratic howls if they weren't the party to put the first woman in the oval office. Hillary would probably stroke out. Even that token affirmative action offering, Scott would have a chance agains whatever the Democrats can come up with.
It's seems that the only hope the Republicans have will come from the Democrats. If they can convict him for something and bar him from running, the polls indicate that is the only way to stop him. I can't understand the Trump cult. If they can't have Trump, then I guess Biden is their second choice.
Trump will not get the nomination. A felony conviction will stop him pending appeals but the Republicans won't give him the nomination regardless.

If Trump were to be re-elected, the only way that he would leave office would if you pried the job “out of his cold dead fingers” just a gun from an NRA member.
Nikki would make a great VP, perhaps with DeSantis or even Pence. But she'd also make an ass kicking president. Maybe DeSantis or Pence as her VP, although I don't think Pence would accept another VP slot.
Trump goes to jail. The current field has desantos and haily one and two in the polls .. BUT many others will jump in the race once Trump is in jail or off the ticket . Cruz, Noeme, Younkin, and many others are too afraid of Trump announce a run when Trump is gone they may grow a pair
Well, I don't see Trump going to jail, but I also don't see him able to get on the ballot. I just don't think the Republican powers are going to let that happen. Too much baggage. And anyone jumping into the race because Trump is out will have a serious credibility problem to overcome.
