Depends on if the DoJ finally jumps the shark and assassinates Trump. Then the field is open again.

Nikk Haley stands as much as a chance like all the others. I'd rather have Haley than that of Trump. That's all I'm going to say.

I heard today that Trump has a nickname for Nikki Haley, “bird brain.” The story is he sent an empty birdcage to her hotel room.

Do any of you Trump supporters want to justify this?

If Nikki Haley is a “bird brain,” Trump has the brain of a house fly in comparison.

No, this is not justified, but it's the sort of thing Trump loves to do. It's why I'll never support him.

Trump thinks he's clever. He's just bully, but the cult can't see it.

I don't know if she's a bird brain, but she's said some stupid things in public.

    Justify?
If you want something trump says or does explained you need to ask trump.

You understand. It would be like someone asking you to justify bidens open borders.

So far it looks like we are going to be stuck with the two most unpopular presidential candidates in history.

Nikki Haley let us know that our support for Ukraine is so important because it is so vital. So there's that. Any chance?

She doesn't have a snowball's chance in hell of beating DeSantis and DeSantis doesn't have a chance of beating Trump so no. It's like inception of but having a snowball's chance in hell.

    Most of a year remains.
Don't count her out yet, and don't assume trump will be on the ballot.

    this is interesting

Groups pushing anti-Trump message urge NH Democrats to vote in GOP primary | New Hampshire Public Radio (nhpr.org)

If you are an undeclared voter in New Hampshire — or a Democrat open to becoming one ahead of the 2024 presidential primary — political actors of all stripes are working to get your attention in time for the state’s Oct. 6th deadline to change party affiliation.

The groups include political committees hoping to boost former Republican New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie by inviting Democratic voters to temporarily become independents so they can back his explicitly anti-Trump message in the GOP primary.

There are also separate anti-Trump groups, asking Democrats to “dare to undeclare” so they can defeat or weaken Trump by throwing their support to any of his Republcian challengers.

In the last New Hampshire poll, she had 19% to 10% for DeSantis. DeSantis is toast, at least for 2024. He’s an effective governor. He showed that during the recent hurricane. Unfortunately he does not come off well in the debates. He also went too far right in his policies, at least for me, when he entered the race.

DeSaster is young, so his day might come as long as he learns from his mistakes.

I'd vote for Nikki if she was the nominee.

I'm impressed by the willingness of democrats to lie, set aside all ethical considerations and morals to get Trump, no matter what it takes. Given their scheming with Kavanaugh and the nonsense with the Steele dossier, changing political affiliation temporarily to skew the voting in New Hampshire is hardly earth shattering but does show that there are no limits when it comes to getting Trump.
    Whatever it takes, eh?

Abortion. You don’t like it but it loses elections for Republicans. Your banning of all abortions will result in more abortions because it will elect more Democrats who are 100% for abortion. Soft pedal the issue and let the states decide. That’s what the Supreme Court decision said. DeSantis pandered to you. If you demand that abortion be outlawed nationally, you will lose the whole issue because that will elect pro abortion Democrats nationally.

You can cite you BS polls that a majority are anti abortion, but that is not the truth. A majority of people don’t care about religion. They want to kill the baby if they don’t want it. That is the truth.

The extreme position is, “lf the baby feels pain. It must be illegal.” “If there is a heartbeat, abortion is illegal.”

If you push that position, you will lose politically.

Perhaps, but the Trump cult will want him until he’s 100 years old. Trump is almost unelectable unless he’s running against Biden. Outside of the Republican Party, Americans hate Trump. It might not be logical, but the news media and January 6 taught them that. Trump pissed on his re-election when he held that rally.

I think 2024 is the end of the line for Trump. Outside of the Republican party they hate all Republican candidates.

If Romney or Liz Cheney were the nominee or elected they'd be Hitler incarnate. I remember when Romney was running they said the same thing about him that they did about Trump.
