    If you say so.

If you disagree with my impression that fiscally-conservative Sununu being a relative moderate on social issues does not comport with the increasingly authoritarian direction of the GOP, you can disagree.

All I see from you is pro far left rants, so it’s hard to believe that you would really support a fiscally conservative, socially moderate libertarian. It seems that you avatar is mocking Calvin Coolidge who was exactly that. Coolidge was a well educated but taciturn politician who probably would never have become president if Harding had been able to complete his term. He was too reserved.

Sununu does not have much of a chance anyway. He’s from a small state and has not had much national exposure. His political family has been a power in New Hampshire for a long time, but influence has not spread much beyond those borders.

I acknowledge Coolidge as one of my political heroes.

Your fantasizing about hyper-partisan "far left rants" is of no interest to me. For me, opposing the rejection of the democratic will and the inciting of a goon attack on outnumbered police defending the Capitol in a sordid attempt to overthrow an election certified by all 50 states is not "leftist."

It is embracing government of, by, and for the People.

Sununu, like Coolidge, is from a small state, and in the tradition of Coolidge (although far more voluble.)

No, he has little chance swimming against the current red tide of authoritarianism driving the GOP.

President Calvin Coolidge was known as “Silent Cal” because of his extraordinarily laconic speech.
A famous anecdote tells of a dinner party during which the person sitting adjacent to the Coolidge said:
“Mr. President I’ve made a large bet that I would be able to make you say more than two words.”
Coolidge considered this proposition carefully and then replied slowly and emphatically, “You lose.”

Hey girl you really need to up your game cause you're getting nowhere.
Saying as president you'd pardon Rhodes and all the convicted seditious conspiracy thugs would work for more than one news cycle for sure.

BTW Nikki, Trump can't ever pick you for his VP slut.
He's too scared of Marge Gangreene and Swamp Lake.

'Nikki Haley's Anti-Trans Rhetoric Falls Flat in New Hampshire'

The 2024 presidential contender veered hard into Fox News territory at a Wednesday campaign event. It didn’t go well.

    https://www.thedailybeast.com/2024-...mulvaney-rhetoric-falls-flat-in-new-hampshire

MANCHESTER, New Hampshire—When Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley stepped onstage Wednesday morning at a campaign event at Saint Anselm College, she had a question for the crowd. "Everybody know about Dylan Mulvaney?” Haley asked. “Bud Light? That is a guy, dressed as a girl, making fun of women.”

To the GOP’s hardcore base, Dylan Mulvaney needs no introduction. The transgender content creator who partnered with Budweiser has been the target of vicious attacks and sustained indignation for weeks, largely thanks to a seemingly endless stream of segments on Fox News.

But in the crowd at Saint Anselm College’s “Politics & Eggs” event, packed with New Hampshire’s famously independent voters, this anti-transgender broadside was not met with applause but silence. Voters in the room appeared largely unaware of the Bud Light controversy. When Haley waited for applause, they didn’t clap.

It wasn’t the only moment during Haley’s stop at the seminal New Hampshire campaign event when her conservative culture war messaging seemed out of place. Earlier in her stump speech, for instance, Haley declared she was “unapologetically pro-life,” a staple GOP applause line that received a muted response from the crowd.'

You are the strangest Coolidge admirer I have even seen. No one could have ever guessed it. So you think that you can fix the Republican Party by going far left? I don’t get it. Far left is the antithesis to Calvin Coolidge.

How about supporting Rand Paul? How about talking about Republican alternatives to Trump? I guess the New Hampshire governor is your answer.

You will guess as you will. If you want to "fix the Republican Party by going far left" good luck with that. I have no illusions about fixing the Republican Party. Obviously, it can not thrive by depending upon aging, less-educated white males.

I share progressive Mike Dukakis's and others' admiration of Calvin Coolidge without any pretense of influencing the Republican Party.

So I have to sit for 45 minutes looking at a propaganda video from liberal Democrat Michael Dukakis and the woke Washington Post to find out why you think that Calvin Coolidge was an early woke Democrat? Why don’t you summarize it to me? If it has changed you life, that should be easy.

Coolidge was a free market, conservative Republican who abhorred the type of government those people advocate. He said that he never got good advice from Herbert Hoover, who was Franklin Roosevelt light.

To be honest, Coolidge could have used some reforms to control the amount of debt people and businesses were incurring in the 1920s. Excessive debt has most often been the cause of economic recessions and depressions, an preventing that is a major problems we face.

Her 15 min fame was gone when she was done with SC governorship. If she or Tim Scott thinks the current GOP will elect a brown or black person as their nominee, then they are complete idiot.

I think Scott like Haley is vying for a VP slot from whoever becomes the GOP nominee.
Trump just couldn't bring himself to nominate a minority for the SCOTUS.

'Nikki Haley Really Thinks the “Women’s Issue of Our Time” Is Trans Kids Playing Sports'

'The Republican presidential candidate used her CNN town hall to scapegoat trans kids.'

'Presidential hopeful Nikki Haley believes that the biggest issue for women right now is transgender girls playing girls’ sports.

During a CNN town hall on Sunday, Haley blasted the idea of letting trans girls play on girls’ teams and grossly blamed inclusive sports policies for the high number of teenage girls who considered suicide last year.

“I mean, the idea that we have biological boys playing in girls’ sports, it is the women’s issue of our time,”

How are we supposed to get our girls used to the fact that biological boys are in their locker rooms? And then we wonder why a third of our teenage girls seriously contemplated suicide last year?”

'So if anything, stances like Haley’s could actually increase rates of suicidal thoughts among teenage girls, because they make trans girls feel alone.'

The U.S.-India friendship is personal. India is an ally that shares our democratic values. We have so much in common, from business & cultural ties to mutual security interests. It's critical that we continue to grow our partnership. I wish Prime Minister Modi a successful visit to Washington.

    9:27 AM · Jun 22, 2023

'Prime Minister Modi has presided over a period of rapid deterioration of human rights protections in India, including increasing violence against religious minorities, shrinking civil society space, and the criminalisation of dissent,” it said in a statement shared with Al Jazeera.

Amnesty said it has documented how India criminalised freedom of expression and peaceful assembly, placed dangerous constraints on civil society, and arrested dozens of rights defenders, journalists, lawyers, political opponents, academics and students under arbitrary charges.

“Financial and investigative agencies of the government have been weaponised to harass, silence, and criminalise independent critical voices, including media organisations such as the BBC and prominent non-governmental organisations,” it said.

“While the red carpet has been rolled out for Prime Minister Modi, people in India continue to experience grave human rights abuses,” said Aakar Patel, chair of the board at Amnesty International India'

Because Nikki Haley and Tim Scott pose a real threat to the Dems' coalition and narrative, they can expect especially vicious attacks.

Do you remember when you were growing up, do you remember how simple life was, how easy it felt? It was about faith, family, and country. We can have that again, but to do that, we must vote Joe Biden out. #RTM2023

Nikki Haley, the amoral opportunist whore $$$$$$

'Nikki Haley seemingly softens stance on Saudi crown prince she once called 'responsible' for death of Jamal Khashoggi'

'Haley was previously much tougher on the Saudi crown prince.'

    snip:

'While Haley previously said she held Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman "responsible" for the 2018 murder of journalist and Saudi dissident Jamal Khashoggi, she seemingly changed her tune on the Saudi leader, known as "MBS," in remarks on Tuesday, stressing that the United States needs Arab countries to "be with us."

"We need more friends. I mean, look at what happened: Biden goes and basically calls Saudi Arabia a 'pariah.' Now, MBS is going to outlive every leader. He's young. You called him a 'pariah' and what did you do? You sent him to China," Haley said at the American Enterprise Institute in Washington, D.C., Tuesday. "We need the Arab countries to be with us, not China, and my guess is they would rather be with us than China."

Nikki Haley and Tim Scott are two candidate of color. But they think in America racism doesn’t exist.

Here is a simple status for Niki and Tim

3 women of color ever been Gov of a State in USA History.

11 African-American senator in US history out of 2002 senators.

Now dear Nikki and Tim thinks that is progress. There is nothing to talk about.

The thing about Nikki is that she has a real chance, if Trump is out of the running.
Now, he might be taken out by being charged/convicted of crimes but I think he'll go down when it gets right down to the nominations. I think Trump has as much chance of a Republican nomination as Liz Cheney.
If Trump is out of the picture, Nikki takes on a whole new significance.

    I'm not following your reasoning.

Trump and DeSantis are taking the populist lane, and most of the rest, are taking the establishment lane. Nikki isn't competing against Trump, she's competing against everyone else.

If trump was out, Desantis would be the front man and a clear choice: Desantis or Haley.
Both have state governor experience and have done well.
    Haley has more foreign experience.
As a plus, famale and black.
Imagine the democrat angst if republicans put the first female ... BLACK female .... in the oval office.

Know what would be the tops for a race?
Ivanka Trump and Chelsea Clinton. But Ivanka running as a democrat and Chelsea as a republican.
Heads would explode at the conventions!
The Clintons standing at the Republican dias, trump at the democratic dias.
    Marvelous!
