I do share your concern for historical landmarks, and your hatred for the destroyer of these. I wish the most gruesome death opun these people, i hate them with my whole being. I actually want western militaries to step in to prevent theae things. But still, what bugs me and lil mike is that if it wasnt for that, you'd be ok with them. But you changed your position ao nevermind

 

I perhaps did not clarify my position that well in my initial post.

In general I am against military intervention in the affairs of other nation states. Rarely do I see these incursions as justified.

Historically in fact it has been a bit of a gong show and often we have been on the wrong side of the fence. Thank goodness we did not support the pro Al Qaida rebels in Syria as I think this would have been a big mistake.

As to the Taliban: These are such a complete waste of skin that I have no sympathy for whatever comes their way.
