You meant to say drones .. right ? At least using a manned plane is not so cowardly.

But .. terrorism/ killing of innocents is not restricted to flying planes into buildings .. what about dropping 500 lb bombs on apartment blocks in the middle of a crowded city or on a wedding. How about supporting the use of poison gas ? Surely that must count for something.

Extremist Islam and the extremist Religious right are two peas in the same pod ..

In a democracy of course interviewing an Islamist leader, even an extreme one, would hardly be doing anything to get media attention, in fact it would be run of the mill journalism. You don't really want democracy do you?

The heavy hand of the state keeping the media under raps. You don't really want democracy do you?

The Egyptian Satellite Company, Nilesat, will stop broadcasting satellite channel Dream TV for operating outside of media production city, state-run news agency MENA reported.
MENA cited “sources” saying that the channel's service would be halted because its production facilities, Dream Land City, are located outside Egyptian Media Production City, violating Law 13/1979. The channel had received a six-year exception to the clause from former Information Minister Anas al-Fiqqi, which ends Friday.
The state Egyptian Radio and Television Union had received requests from four channels to broadcast outside media production city, which would allow them to avoid certain fees.
The sources said the unions member council issued a decision on Thursday that Nilesat should stop all exceptions. They also called on the satellite channel Tahrir to broadcast from inside the media city.

Quite true, and a factor that people seem to overlook. To put it bluntly, the growth in the Egyptian economy is nowhere near keeping pace with the growth in the Egyptian population. This is a constant source of destablization and Egypt will not achieve a healthy democracy unless this problem is addressed. It may not achieve a healthy democracy anyway, but a stabilized population in ratio to the economy is a necesary precondition for such a success.

Are you (*)(*)(*)(*)ing comparing targeted attacks against terrorists with precision weapons to hijacking planes full of civilians and crashing them into buildings full of civilians, we do not use poison gas and these "wedding parties" are terrorist meetings it's not our fault they use human shields.

No, not the same Islamists. This is like saying those whackos in Westboro Church are representative of conservative America Christians. They may have things in common, but they are hardly one and the same.

If it ever comes to that, we should just step in and make them into a protectorate. Then with glorious colonialism we'll make decent people out of them.

30 years of Mubarak and his gang of thieves and their destruction of Egypt should not be blamed on ANY government whose job it was to take over the mess he left behind.

It's only now that we are getting to see just how much damage in every single sector he created and left as his legacy.

seeing as the populace, left to decide their government by themselves choose freaking islamists i'd prefer mubarak. as having real democracy and respect for human right is a near impossibility, the people don't want it, I prefer a stable secular dictatorship.

Wait are you saying it was the 'extremist religious right' that started up the drone program? Well brb I need to inform a certain president he's been playing ball for the wrong political party and needs to be conservative in his religious views. No more of this pro-gay stuff and we need to double down on these drones!
