Actually it's not a shock at all, unless you believe the fake news media. "the ukraine" (literal meaning = the borderlands) with its clown president is disappearing at a rate of 1,000 men per day, according to a ukie top official.

Teenagers, women, and 70 year old men have surrendered to Russian forces.

ukie now ordering 50K+ women's uniforms for conscription.

Oh yeah, ukie Banderastan gonna win any time now.

Satellite photos of military graves in the Ukraine confirm what Lutsenko stated.

I'm puzzled as to why he said it, when Biden and Ukraine have been fastidiously
lying for so long to cover the losses up.

Maybe Ukraine has decided to kick the Biden / Blinken / CIA in the teeth at long last and
    exit the war.

Exactly - and Ukrainians should thank President Putin that Russia is not at war with Ukraine, only 'Special military operation'.
Yes, Ukraine is loosing 1000 man a day and Russia is gaining 10,000 men a day:

It's an existential struggle for the Ukrainians. They are fighting to be free and not under Kremlin tyranny. It has little to do with Biden or Blinken, and nothing the CIA. You're spouting Kremlin lies.

Biden is guilty of one thing, and that is doing too little to help Ukraine out of a misguided desire to avoid "escalation." The problem is that lack of escalation is synonymous with appeasement and invites ruZZia to keep escalating. Same problem in the Middle East right now, incidentally, where the lack of "escalation" with respect to the Houthis and Iran proper is inviting and leading to more escalation on Iran's part.

Thirty years from now historians will write the context of the Ukraine war: the coup, the attack on Donbass, NATO expansion, rejection of both Minsk Accords, and Russian treaty proposals without being called Putin apologists.

For now this brief timeline of Ukrainian/US relations since WWII provides some much needed historical background for those who want to understand the current US attempt at regime change in Moscow:

    https://consortiumnews.com/2023/06/30/ukraine-timeline-tells-the-story/

"World War II— Ukrainian national fascists, led by Stepan Bandera, at first allied with the German Nazis, massacre more than a hundred thousands Jews and Poles

"1950s to 1990 – C.I.A. brought Ukrainian fascists to the U.S. and worked with them to undermine the Soviet Union in Ukraine, running sabotage and propaganda operations.

"Ukrainian fascist leader Mykola Lebed was taken to New York where he worked with the C.I.A. through at least the 1960s and was still useful to the C.I.A. until 1991, the year of Ukraine’s independence.

"The evidence is in a U.S. government report starting from page 82. Ukraine has thus been a staging ground for the U.S. to weaken and threaten Moscow for nearly 80 years."

The ppl that support the Ukraine and Israel have conflicting principles.

Russia and Israel are pretty much doing the same thing so one cannot oppose Russia and support Israel.

The only 2 reasons iCan determine as to this twisted logic is 1, they're Zionists (support Jewish leaders no matter their war crimes) or 2, they're NATO shills that support NATO no matter their war crimes.

Extremists either way you look at it.

Ukraine was bombing Russia for decades until it finally invaded—killing, kidnapping and raping Russians as part of a larger doctrine of wiping Russia off the map?

Holy crap I didn’t know that!

link - Bomb, a container carrying an explosive charge that is fused to detonate under certain conditions (as upon impact) and that is either dropped (as from an airplane) or set into position at a given point. In military science, the term aerial bomb or bomb denotes a container dropped from an aircraft and designed to cause destruction by the detonation of a high-explosive bursting charge or incendiary or other material. Bombs differ from artillery shells, missiles, and torpedoes in that the latter are all propelled through the air or water by a human-made agency, while bombs travel to their targets through the force of gravity alone. A major distinction must also be made between conventional bombs and atomic and thermonuclear bombs, which have a far greater destructive capacity.

Israel and Palestine have been at war for a good 59 years. In wars, bombs are regularly used.

Simple lies that blanket the landscape produce amazing results.

Calling our offensive military 'defense' eases people's conscience about
giving it billions of dollars in weapons.

And in real life I've talked with many people who are unaware we
sent millions of dollars in weapons over to the Kyiv regime to start
    the war in Ukraine.

The simple reason was the weapons had been called 'aid'.

Lutsenko dies not hold any government position at all.

He was Minister of Internal Affairs over 10 years ago. His last official position was Prosecutor General, ending 2019.

    The Title is not accurate.

Lutsenko did not say there are 500,000 dead. He referred to it as a number "being talked about" while mentioning several times that the actual number needs to be made known, that people to need to find out how many died, etc.

    1. is the statement true? it has been corroborated by satellite pictures
    2. why is the revelation that 500,000 Ukrainians have died in combat considered bad news?
because we know it has achieved nothing. it never could achieve anything, unless you
consider getting NATO into Ukraine and with it NATO weapons and nuclear weapons
    a worthwhile objective.

Anyone interested in understanding why Russia invaded Ukraine in 2022 should acknowledge some basic facts that even Joe (Genocide) Biden knew in 1997:

    https://twitter.com/rishibagree/sta.../2023/06/30/ukraine-timeline-tells-the-story/

"Dec. 25, 1991: Soviet Union collapses. Wall Street and Washington carpetbaggers move in during ensuing decade to asset-strip the country of formerly state-owned properties, enrich themselves, help give rise to oligarchs, and impoverish the Russian, Ukrainian and other former Soviet peoples.

"1990s: U.S. reneges on promise to last Soviet leader Gorbachev not to expand NATO to Eastern Europe in exchange for a unified Germany.

"George Kennan, the leading U.S. government expert on the U.S.S.R., opposes expansion.

"Sen. Joe Biden, who supports NATO enlargement, predicts Russia will react hostilely to it."
