    Did the video show him to be tresspassing inside the Capitol? That's illegal.

    After the riot and his arrest, Chansley asked then-President Donald Trump for a pardon. He also went on a hunger strike in an attempt to get organic food while in custody and spoke to “60 Minutes” from jail without permission. In September, Chansley pleaded to a felony charge of obstructing Congress’ certification of the 2020 vote.

    Spoke for more than a half-hour
    For more than 30 minutes, Chansley spoke to Lamberth about the impact jail has had on him, and the guilt he feels for breaking the law.

    He said he was wrong to enter the Capitol on January 6, and that he is not an insurrectionist or domestic terrorist, but rather a “good man who broke the law.”

    I watched Ashli Babbit get shot live on periscope. I'll never forget what happened that day. I don't need the J6 committee or Tucker to reveal it to me.

    No one paying attention on that day should need anyone to explain the timeline to them. The people defending J6, don't seem to remember what happened.

    I suppose I'm glad Trump didn't wait until more of his supporters died, but i guess i'm just too petty to give him credit for that.

    Well, the claim was made that he influenced his supporters to go home and they did. Did you give him credit for that or use it to criticize him more? How many democratic leaders asked the rioters of 2020 to go home? To stop the rioting. No criticism for them or is it all reserved for the Orange Bad Man?

    Fair enough, but if his words had the effect of stopping the riot then he deserves that credit. I'll grant that he should have done it sooner, but then there's enough blame to go around to others that played a role in allowing it to happen in the first place.
