But for those of us who live in the world of reality, it is the exact opposite of what they believe: OBL and ISIS are not true Muslims while Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Bush are true Christians.

That's actually a myth that just by saying Christling (< a transliteration) makes you a student of Christ. The original followers of the Christ were commis with simple jobs that gave them time to take care of the poor the sick and spread the good word which is pretty much all they did. This was and is only way to be a disciple or student of Christ, you have to emulate the lives they lived. They didn't call themselves Christians in the bible at all either they said that other people called them Christians which was a derogatory word.

The accumulation of power and wealth is the opposite of a disciple of Christ.
Its exactly like calling yourself a plumber when you don't plumb.

Another myth is that people think repent means "damn, my bad god. I'll try to do better". It means "A Transformative Change of Hear.

And the cherry on top is that in Romans Paul says that more is expected from a follower of Christ than the gentles who have not heard and do not know the truth of Jesus and so the gentles will be judged by works meaning they have an easier time getting into heaven.

The point to writing all this is that I find it amusing that evangelicals who basically think they own heaven will be very surprised when they go straight to hell and that heaven will be a very brown neighborhood including lots of Muslims.

What nonsense. Islamic doctrine commands the believers to "fight", "kill", "slay" and "smite the necks" of the unbelievers "until....religion should only be for Allah". Islam dictates the form of government, the law to be applied and advocates violent jihad to establish, expand and defend the Islamic Caliphate. UNLIKE any other religion. Chistians murder in spite of their religion. Muslims murder according to their religion.

 

So much more violence in tje name of Islam..its worse than violence committed in the name of Christianity in the MIDDLE AGES. Go read the Koran and then try to come back here and talk smack

 

No, the assumption is that a Muslim following a strict literal interpretation of Islamic doctrine is a muslim motivated by Islamic doctrine, while a Christian that acts directly in contradiction of Christian doctrine, isn't motivated by Christianity.

 

So you're saying that all 1.8 billion adherents of Islam believe that this what they need to be doing with their lives? If my math is correct each American would need to fight .3 billion in order to survive this impending holocaust.

[2.191] And kill them wherever you find them, and drive them out from whence they drove you out, and persecution is severer than slaughter, and do not fight with them at the Sacred Mosque until they fight with you in it, but if they do fight you, then slay them; such is the recompense of the unbelievers.(*)
