well the anti gun movement generally sees white middle class Christian Males as their political enemies and they see gun control is a weapon that will mainly harm said demographic though crime statistics prove that white middle class Christian males are far less, in terms of proportion-to commit violent gun crime than black or hispanic males (of all economic cohorts)

That’s nice, that’s really nice and all. Kind of pointless in this context but nice.

Great… now we are going to get a white house congratulation celebration for the champs all crying for gun control with Taylor swift advocating right along side them. More knee jerk BS with zero thought to the culture problem in gen Z

One of the biggest take aways was that this guy was stopped not by “a good guy with. A gun” but by unarmed bystanders doing their civic duty

Is it mandatory training? As for “civil rights” that flew out the door when the majority of its income came from gun manufacturers

Actually it is a large part of the problem by shifting the social dynamic around gun violence by encouraging deleterious myths

No one thinks only an armed man can, but an armed man is overwhelmingly more likely. No rational person could come to the conclusion that entering a gun fight with your fists is a winning strategy even if occasionally you can find a rare anecdote of it working. Again, more left wing delusions about what the right actually believes lmao.

what are those deleterious myths? that The Second Amendment prevents gun bans or that armed people are safer than unarmed ones? when the real myth is that anti gun advocates-domestic or foreign, don't really care about crime control and have ulterior motives for pushing bans upon honest Americans?

It shows where the cultural issues lay. And by identifying where they are we can, one day, fix it.

Nothing rational about ignoring the blatant issues of that exist in the back community when it comes to gun violence. Despite how the left wish to blame it on maga.

Not sure if you noticed this but no one’s ignoring it, this forum sure as hell doesn’t ignore it but actually takes every chance possible to bring it up no matter what the actual story is.

The left actively ignore it in both thier diagnosis of the problem and their solutions.

so you are claiming that even though the largest single source of income is membership dues, the NRA doesn't push civil rights?
    https://amarkfoundation.org/reports/who-funds-the-nra/

Membership dues totaling $83,274,950 contributed the largest percentage (39.4%) of the NRA’s total revenue of $211,332,026 in 2022, the most recent year for which data is available (as of January 2024). The next biggest sources were $71.8 million from private contributions and grants (34%), $21 million from advertising income (9.9%), $18.5 million from program fees (8.8%), and $10.9 million from royalties (5.2%).

gun makers advertisement was about nine percent.

    A Pack not a Herd:

Two Kansas City Fans gang tackle one of the shooters and hold him for police. Film at link.

'Wild footage shows the suspect springing behind jersey barriers and across the grass toward a sea of confused and terrified celebrants shortly after shots rang out at the end of the victory parade west of Union Station.'

'Rather than running away with the rest of the crowd, one brave fan braced himself and leaped on the alleged criminal, dragging him to the ground.'

'The suspected gunman quickly wriggled free but was immediately tackled again by a second Chiefs fan, who somersaulted in the dirt with the man in a desperate attempt to keep him shackled.'

'That’s when the first fan jumped back into the fight, followed by at least two other bystanders who all worked together to hold the suspect down until police arrived just seconds later.'

'The camera panned to another suspect being cuffed several yards away.'

    https://redstate.com/bobhoge/2024/0...wild-video-hold-him-till-cops-arrive-n2170134

Others in the crowd immediately stopped by the fallen and rendered aid, direct pressure and even tourniquets while shooting was still in progress.

I guess because MAGA is claimed to be a political movement/ideology.

That I have white skin is neither.

To get back on point. You agree you had no need to mention 'black,' yet you did.

Libs, let's just put aside the shooter's skin color for a second and pretend he was wearing MAGA hat. Now what?

Yes a valid political movement undeserving of such slander. Yet that doesn't stop dems from doing it. The left wing hypocrisy at its finest.

Looks like not enough gun lovers brought their weapons to a parade to "protect" themselves and others . The real tragedy is that this is now the "American experience". No event is complete without some kind of shoot out , death and victims. The "wild" west was not this crazy. Even the WILD west had some ground rules. No place is safe: schools, social events, theaters, etc.

This is the American NORM. and status quo So no need to blather about security, safety etc etc....as that is just empty rhetoric. The gun lobyy and owners call the shots , so ANY ideas that might reduce this violence is dead before it takes oxygen.

Because blacks live in DEMOCRAT controlled areas, Democrats are therefor responsible for their actions. These shooters ALWAYS have multiple felonies on their records. This is real damn simple. Lock up violent thugs EVEN IF THEY ARE BLACK. When you let off thugs BECAUSE THEY ARE BLACK, you encourage crime and entrench the cycle of violence. Instead DEMOCRATS point at the crime statistics of primarily black perps to justify to taking away rights from the law abiding citizens.

From my perspective, the refusal of powerful leftists to hold black inner city predators to the same standards as everybody else is a major cause of the problem in the inner city. Because of leftist affinity for black criminals, poor honest black people are forced to live in war zones. Whites move away and the people who suffer are primarily black. Never try to pretend that looking the other way at black crime is a virtuous act, it is ALWAYS pure evil and it is ALWAYS murderous.

But he wasn't. Stay on Topic. You went out of your way to tell us he was black. Why?
