210 Democrats Voted Against Providing Immediate Medical Assistance to Babies Who Survive Abortion

On Wednesday, 210 Democrat House representatives voted against providing medical assistance to babies who survive an abortion attempt.

The House passed the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act which stated that a baby born alive is a “legal person for all purposes under the laws of the United States.” Doctors would be forced to give medical attention as a “reasonably diligent and conscientious health care practitioner would render to any other child born alive.”

Didn’t abortion supporters say that once a baby was literally born alive and took a breath he or she was then fully human? Doesn’t that mean that they are due full constitutional rights as living citizens of the United States? Why then do 210 democrats vote as if they want to permit infanticide against born human beings?

 

Why do democrats think it’s ok to deny medical care to an American citizen. Why do they think that the interests of any other living human being should prevail over the very survival of another born living human being?

 

The US already has laws prohibiting letting individuals die on purpose.
And a baby born alive falls under this law.
So there is no need for this symbolism.

I don't know what it is about some Democrats and this weird thing they have about the destruction of children. But, I don't hear loud cries of disagreement from any part of the Democrat Party, so, maybe this is their view?

Be careful what you wish for.

Any baby born alive after a failed abortion will be severely disabled mentally and physically. Snipped off hands and feet, crushed skull, etc. Not to mention genetic abnormalities or an outright failed pregnancy that would be part of a late-term abortion.

And the babies will not be made comfortable. There will be a cold, clinical, and brutal medical resuscitation attempted-- CPR (Not mouth to mouth, but holding the baby upside down and smacking its back repeatedly for as long as it takes to get it to an ICU), tubes down the nose, placed on a ventilator, etc.

And since it's already illegal it means there is no need to have a duplicate in the law.

All the GOP is doing is trying to score cheap points for the audience, but in fact have done nothing useful. But the sheep are applauding, and they take their bow.

 

They didn't for God's sake. This law already exists. It has always been the case that any baby born alive is to be provided proper care even if it was an attempted abortion.
Can't the Republicans come up with anything that isn't already law? Is this what we should expect for the next two years?
