This is a documentary about Steven E. Jones, a former BYU physics professor who made startling discoveries about the 9/11 terrorist attacks.

In a revealing interview, C. Martin Hinckley admitted to sending emails to Jones in which he allegedly attempted to bribe and threaten Jones to stop the WTC dust analysis. C Martin Hinckley offered assurance that he could almost promise Homeland Security would fund research grants at BYU if Steven Jones didn't publish his findings. Steven Jones published his findings and BYU put him on administrative leave.

I watched the entire video and he didn't seem like a liar or fraud to me. Steven Jones comes across as a genuinely concerned physicist working honestly to discover the truth. Also, he performs some of his lab experiments in the video. Quite interesting.

In the OP video Steven Jones shows how he was able to obtain the WTC dust. That is interesting in itself. A guy that was in New York that day just reached down and scooped up a handful before noon on 9/11 and kept it in a plastic bag. It was uncontaminated dust. Jones has examined more samples since then.

He found iron spheres and paint chips. He calls the chips 'thermetic' to mislead the gullible.

 

Do you know what contamination is?
Dude scoops up a handful with his bare hands. Contamination.
Puts it in his pocket. Contamination.
Takes it to a friends apartment. Contamination.
Keeps it for years until he hears about a guy looking for 9/11 dust.
Sells it to Jones.

Question: why won't jones release any of his dust to be examined by peer review?

 

I don't know why you would make that claim because they do the experiment in the video. People who watch the OP video can see that they put the chips in a calorimeter and watch the energy expand. It is very interesting to watch.

 

Thermetic does not equal thermite in all cases. Paint can be Thermetic.

Quite the opposite actually - he is your classic erratic genius. He wrote the paper that destroyed the discovery. He did however author a paper on the origins of Christ in the US. Just another Fred Hoyle who stepped out of his field.
