How can you explain the four year delay in processing the Hunter Biden laptop and the three year delay in processing the allegation "from a reliable source" that Biden took a $5 million bribe from a foreign country while he was vice president? How can you explaining the FBI spying on the Catholic Church? How can you explain the slow walking the FBI has done investigations about bombing of clinics that offer alternatives to abortion. How about labeling parents who come to school board meets as terrorists?

I know that none of these things mean anything to you because it's the FBI and DOJ "keeping the conservatives in line" like they should. But for those who advocate equal protection and treatment under the law with "blind justice" in force, it means a great deal.

Paul Ryan of Wiscousin? He is retired and is not running again. He was also forced out of his position when his party lost the House majority in 2019. I don't think no one in the House will vote for him again.

That being said, if McCarthy loses his speakership, we will\ have another 15-round vote.

Any explanation will have to be explained by the special prosecutor who was appointed to handle the case.

Again, a "reliable source" making this statement is in no way proof that he did. And that can only happen if there are ciminal charges and a trial to determine the facts. At least that is how our justice system works.

But from all the evidence posted on this forum, I have not seen any evidence of bribes. Seen payments from one person to another to hunter Biden yes, but payments in and of themselves is not illegal. You need more to show that proof of a "bribe."

There is no such thing as social justice. That's a buzzword that was created for people to feel better. And the policies that were initiated in its place, interestingly enough very quickly discriminated against other Americans in the name of this so-called 'social justice'.

Does this shock or surprise anybody? Of course not, in the Democrats world, if you're struggling or down it must be because of the racists, the MAGA's, etc. Instead of cleaning up the rivers, etc just because that'd be the right thing to do if a certain minority is a majority in the community then they must BY god be misplaced!

The current President has no one to blame but himself for the universal dislike, from the center, to the moderate to the extremists. No one agrees with these aburd policies, except the few who benefit from them.

It also isn't surprising because the fact is, the Democrats do not have a national vision for America. Period. When's the last time you heard a Democrat campaign on a general basis, to appeal to the general population of either a state-ran election, or during the mid-terms? At best, the Democrats might try to appeal to you that their programs make sense for you, but never actually advocating on your behalf.

That's why you have the unions, the AFL-CIO, etc, all of these groups they'll vote for the Democrats in November only to have nothing materialize. And then for some strange reason, after not getting close to ANYTHING that they wanted(which the Democrat will conveniently blame on Republicans), they will somehow in spite of everything they'd gone through, still vote Democratic!

This is especially true for legacy minority families. They'll vote Democratic for 4 or 5 generations or more, and in spite of their lot of life not improving they will still solidly be a Democratic bloc. It's to the point where Democrats DO NOT have to campaign for your vote. The 2016 election is outstanding in this regard. The reason everyone shoe'd in Hilary was because of the belt belt(Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, etc.) and with the loss of PA and Michigan, they were stunned!

Nothing has changed in 2024. The Democrats will give you propaganda about the whole abortion issue, somehow people will be locked in cages again, etc. The election will be 'crucial' for African-Americans, you know because it just has to be!

If you go back and disgustingly look at a freaking Teddy Roosevelt Campaign, you'd have thought it was modern! They haven't changed their pitch in over 80 years!

I dont want to get too far into the weeds on this topic because quite frankly I am not that interested, but I did want to make a quick comment.

This is a political chat forum, not a court of law. Speculation goes on all the time without things having been proven in a court of law. Trump has been accused of all manner of crimes in here without having been convicted and its not even about Trump. Countless people have been accused of crimes in here that have not been convicted and the discussion continues unabated based on speculation and the perception of what is reasonable.

Why is this all of a sudden a different situation where we must act as if it is a court of law? Some things are very hard to prove, and end up never being proven as a result, especially when the accused are well-connected. An awful lot of mobsters that committed all manner of crimes were never convicted of a thing despite their guilt being all but assured. That doesn't mean it didn't happen, and it certainly doesn't mean that speculation of such cannot be discussed.

You can’t get any evidence because the FBI and DOJ is purposefully sitting on it. That’s why the House is asking for it. And what is FBI’s response? Stonewalling.

Like I said. If the evidence exonerated Biden, the FBI would release it immediately.

A lot politics is about the alternative or the lesser of two evils. How do think Biden is President? And I can assure he’ll be running against the alternative in ‘24 and the Republicans will run against Harris. That’s where we’re at.

Are you talking Republican TR.’s Bull Moose campaign he ran against both established Party’s or are you trying to say all Progressive’s are the same or the Democratic Party is Progressive rather than Liberal or maybe progressive and liberal are indistinguishable?

This is the perfect post in which you will look at the letter behind the name of the candidate more than what the candidate says.

And the GOP keeps saying the same thing about this upcoming election is the most important. It was the mantra behind pro-life groups voting Republican and will continue to vote Republican. As for abortion, we have 10 states that provide very little to no exceptions to abortion. We have most Republican state representatives in some of those states who want to charge homicide to anyone who may have had an abortion, including a miscarriage, and so forth. So don't give me this crap that it is just Democrats because the GOP has no national identity for America either.

In other words, only antejuramentum under defenders se per corpus suum.

If you notice, any investigation, from homicide to the smallest crime, the law enforcement agency pretty much sits on that evidence until the charges are made. That is any law enforcement agency, no matter how public the crime is or allegedly is.

More generally, I don't view it as a philosophical consistency but rather that they have found a selling point that works. Which in of itself would be fine, if they actually....delivered on said selling point. The most disturbing thing, the thing that has radicalized me the most is that they can give you this selling point on each election cycle, only to provide nothing for it.

One can point to the New Deal(controversial as it was/is) but when the need came to reform it(JFK) they were staunchly opposed and to this day, we haven't been able to meaningfully reform programs so as to help Americans gain and keep gainful employment. You'd think the 'progressive' party would be all over it.

But again, just lip service. At least if someone is staunchly 2nd amendment, they can generally count on Republicans for that. It's not a selling point, it's something Republicans are actually committed to.

I don't know where your politics lead and I won't presume(though in our times of social disagreement, that is easy to do) but if you are left-leaning in anyway, let me ask a question: In your voting history, do you feel Democratic achievements have been made? Actually, let me ask it this clearly: Have you ever felt like that the 'Republican' excuse didn't fly and that on a particular issue, you expected more?

Ryan came into office with the Republicans controlling all three branches. He sat and did nothing with that advantage. He betrayed us. If Ayn Rand’s writings had any influence of him, he left them long ago. He became a Washington swamp creature.

The social media makes the spreading of divisive propaganda far easier than it was in the past, and some QANON type sources are so far out there that its not even funny.

no one before or since has fixed, or cares about "fixing the immigration system" in any way that would deny cheap labor to the "job creators."

notice desantis sends texas ' illegals to mass, but keeps his own for hurricane cleanup in addition to sugar planting and roofing.

I won't argue with you about the "job creators." Those are the worst kind of Republicans who are willing to sell out our country to China and have open borders so that they can have cheap labor on both sides of the Pacific.

I know something about roofing, but I have no idea about what you mean by "sugar planting." The sugar cane industry had a brief success here in the 1850s, but ultimately failed. You can go to the Gamble Plantation museum just off I-75, slightly above Sarasota, if you would like to see how a prosperous sugar plantation house looked. I am not aware of any sugar cane production and processing in Florida at the moment.

That has nothing to do with social justice but is a matter of practicality. If a league is intersex, that's all good and well but for a woman's league to have men in it would give a disproportionate disadvantage to women.

The righties aren't advocating out of a sense of some pet peeve, it's just common sense.

The Democrats are always looking for another “oppressed group” to add to their “big tent.” Right now it’s transsexuals, which are mostly men who think or claim that they are women. In the process, they are kicking female athletes, who have trained for most of their lives to get where they are, under the bus.

This is something more than participation in sports. It’s scholarship money and the advances achieved under Title 9. It means that a guy, who has had testosterone pumping into his body for all but a small portion of his life, can use that unfair advantage to compete with women.

The Democrats are making out like a kid who is transgender is “blessed,” and that it’s something wonderful. It isn’t. My niece has a transgender son, male to female. When they announced it, a bunch of the friends dropped them, in “woke progressive” Manhattan.” They are hiding the fact from others for fear of additional repercussions. There is nothing wonderful about this. It is tragedy, and if you progressives think it’s cool and trendy, think again.

The goal should be tolerance and understanding toward transgender people, not shoving them down our throats the way Budweiser and Target have done. If you kid needs to buy a bathing suit that shoves her junk up her groin, by all means buy it. Target should offer it, but there is no need to take up large amounts of prime retail space in the front of the store to push a woke Democrat Party agenda.

We don’t give a damn if Dillion Mulvaney is celebrating a year of being a woman with a Bud Lite. If it floats your boat, Dillion, drink up. Frankly I’m not interested, and the fact that you endorse Bid Lite won’t change my consumption patterns at all. Your imitation of Audrey Hepburn does not impress me positively at all. In fact it’s like you are mocking her memory.
