Pretty mean, I'd say..... ...Tebow must enjoy doing good and has the money to do it.

I think it's arrogant of him and others who achieve something great to "Thanks Jesus" or similar. I'll have to admit that it drives me a little crazy as well. "Thank you God for making ME! so awesome and great". Get over yourself, I prefer humility. Thank your team and coach for their support instead.

I'd like to see a Muslim thank Allah after every game and see how Christians react.

Typical liberal -_- First of all, he is being humble and saying he is only great because of God. You tell me how that isn't being humble? At least he isn't like 'certain' football players that brag about themselves constantly. Besides, the real arrogance here is someone trying to tell him he should shut up. Thats against his free rights as a human being. And if you listen he thanks God, then he thanks his great teammates. Second of all, you think the guy talking wouldn't have bashed him just as much if he was a muslim? I personally, would have no problem with a muslim thanking God. I have much more respect for muslims, than atheists. At least they believe in something. Atheists are the arrogant ones thinking they are awesome all by luck or of their own accord.

That Tim Tebow is one disgusting human bean! The guy walks his talk and really disgusts the secularists that worship at the shrine of the NFL. I mean, he actually kneels and thx God for being his strength and helper during not only FB games but life also. He prays obscene prayers like "Help me to do my best on the field today." What a selfish, far-out fundie prayer, huh?! And then after each win, he passes around a collection plate thru the crowd to get $$! What?...he doesnt do that?! Then, never mind..

    Oh they do thank God..

If they have a blow out on the highway and keep control of the car.. they say praise be to God.

    Tebow isn't arrogant..

Tim Tebow actually walks the walk instead of simply talking the talk. He spends his free time helping the less fortunate and does it without bragging about it.

This guy simply has the testicular fortitude to say what most football fans are thinking. Tebow is just a flash in the pan who is getting lucky week in and week out. This wont last forever. He'll be gone like the Ryan Leaf, Brian Bosworth, Tony Mandarich, etc.

The testicular fortitude? No, if he did he wouldn't hide behind his little talk show. Go get him if you don't like him. No this little liberal (*)(*)(*)(*)(*)cat is one of the lowest form of lifeforms on the planet- an open bigot.

Wouldn't it be grand to have so much money that you could do good things for people in need?

Is it Shaqqil O'Neil who gives away a thousand bicycles to poor kids every Christmas?

Because Jesus cares more for Teebow than the millions of starving children.

Sorry, but Teebow is a moral disgrace.

Oh, you mean Jesus cares more than the millions of starving children Tebow spends his time and money volunteering for. If he is a disgrace, then all other football players are terrorists. He is a great man, just because your blinded by your totally uncalled for religious hatred.

How many starving children have you helped lately? The only thing in your control is what YOU do to make the world a better place.

Teebow is obscenely rich. Do not even begin to say his volunteer ship is enough to answer the Problem of Evil.

    Don't kid yourself.

It is asinine to say "well..... this football player is volunteering.... so yeah..... I guess I don't need to use my infinite powers to save those 26,000 children today.".

Red herring. People can donate their time and help others without the help or need of a god.
Your idea of volunteerism is secular and the result indistinguishable from a world without a ruling deity.

Thats just stupid. If you truly believe this then you better hate every single football player. Because most are quite rich, and most quite a bit more rich than Tebow. And most of them don't do CRAP for other people. Just because YOU think he should give every penny he makes to everyone else, doesn't mean most people think that way. And for the record, he would be a great man even if he was atheist. And if he was, you would probably love him to death. But because he happens to be a Christian, his good works are naturally evil.

I don't watch football because I have an issue with millionaires chasing a silly leather ball around a court.

I don't care if he is a Christian, so to dismiss the little conspiracy theory there. However it is disgusting, in light of all the human suffering in the world, to say a higher power has blessed you with the ability to chase a silly ball around a field and become obscenely rich in the process.

Sigh. You just have no idea what he's all about. He isnt praying to God saying "thank you for making me good at football" He's thankful because he has been given the opportunity at a good life. Just because you think the entire world should somehow all live off of welfare, doesn't mean it will ever happen. Good luck with that though.

I would love to see a post were I describe an entire world living off of welfare.

So god blesses Teebow, and leaves 26,000 children to starve to death?

    How does that work?

Maybe a person's well being has more to do with their geographical location than god hmmmmm?
