Please! I'm paraphrasing Romer and Bernstein's message and the graph they supplied shows just that.
They did indeed claim that unemployment would not rise above 8% IF the stimulus was passed. http://www.aei-ideas.org/2012/10/a-...nstein-jobs-chart-updated-for-september-2012/

Very good....we march on in dividing the American people...it wasn't enough that conservatives divided the rich and the poor, now we've moved on to dividing the young and the old. "The Loudest Voice in the Room" keeps screaming.

Why does pennies worry you so much when Inc. USA is stripping you of dollars. Banks and Mortgage companies stripped one trillion dollars from Americans, Visa and MasterCard through restraint of trade took you and your for another 500 million...WHY DOES GOVERNMENT TAXATION BOTHER SO MUCH MORE THAN THE REAL PROBLEM???

Will Surge Of Older Workers Take Jobs From Young?

"We all cannot believe that we have been fighting this theory for more than 150 years," said April Yanyuan Wu, a research economist at the Center for Retirement Research at Boston College, who co-authored a paper last year on the subject.

The commonly accepted vision of a surge of workers looks like this: A young post-doctoral student dreams of a full-time teaching job at their university, but there are no openings. An 80-something professor who has remained on the job long past what's considered "normal" retirement is blamed,

You are funny. You should read the report before you set up a thread.

Thanks for finally admitting your claim and the words you put in quotes claiming that was what Tomer and Bernstein said was bull(*)(*)(*)(*).

It is deliciously ironic that in the very same post you attacked me by claiming my "games are so dismally dishonest," you falsely quoted Romer and Berstein as saying "With the economic stimulus we've requested, unemployment will NOT rise above 8%" when the truth is they said no such thing.

I'll let others decide who is playing dishonest games.

What I said was fact and the links I've sent prove that.

They sure did. That was their claim. Check my links. Here is a third separate link that all show the same thing: White House economists
predicted and touted that the Obama stimulus would keep unemployment below 8% (which as you know is b.s.). http://blogs.reuters.com/james-pethokoukis/2011/06/07/romer-bernstein-unemployment-chart-updated/

I think this matter is over now. Get a life.

It was over when I proved you falsely quoted what Romer and Bernstein said.

Why are you still writing posts?

So your shilling for Obama doesn't go unchallenged.
All the links I've provided back me up 100%. What's your excuse for flogging this dead horse?

Proving how you falsely quoted Romer and Bernstein is my "shilling for Obama"? I see.

All the links I've provided back me up 100%. What's your excuse for flogging this dead horse?[/QUOTE]

You've already conceded your quote of Romer and Berstein was false and was not anything they actually said. As I knew it was. Anyone can review your posts to see that.

I have conceded no such thing. You must be very, very desperate. I actually feel sorry for you.

That's what I said and that's supported by the graphs put out by the White House economic advisers showing how unemployment would not rise above 8% with the stimulus program. My position is 100% supported, unlike yours.
