My major is language. So I need to understand better about what was said and was meant by this or that saying. Ethnic band is a priority task for a ministry, because it is a dangerous tendency. Great, I guess now it’s clear that Kolokoltsev was right about ethnic criminal groups (bands) in Russia (Moscow).

Also, it is an unquestionable fact - there are a lot of ethnic groups / diasporas in the good sense of the word (Azerbaijanis, Tajiks, Chehens etc) in Moscow.

As a rule there’re no problems with law-abiding ppl (irrespective of their nationality), which pay respect to laws, local population, right?
So, No doubt the statement about 4% of russians in Moscow is the stinky crap. But, the statement that opinion about ethnic bands in Moscow based on bands of New York movie is the analogous stinky crap as well.

I have studied history and government all my life and still do and along with keeping my eyes open and watching what people do and fill what they say in the proper place, I form an opinion on who or what they are. Houses in Russia are more solid. They are made with a concrete basement and thick brick walls. This is because of our frosts in winter. Warmth has always been a matter for a survival. When US shows the results of gale it's partly because houses in US are built much lighter. Most russian houses have central heating and centralised access to electricity, water and other conviniences. But they look much worse than in the US. People spit on the floors, throw cigarette buds all around and all the kind of liter you have not even imagined. Common places are a disaster. That's why lot's of new multystoried building have a lock which only those who live in the building can unlock. This decreases the amount of liter but doesn't eliminate it. However it became much better in Russia although US is way ahead.

And of course no energy efficiency in Russia. Russians just haven't understood so far how important it is to save energy.

 

1. Russians are not stupid. Russians are tolerant to whatever. Criminal gang ruled in Russia until recent times. Thieves that ruined USSR are either dead or killed or changed their nature. It is just an internal propaganda which make you think so.
2. Russians who think that the USA or EU are enemies - don't understand what it is. But they are absolutely right if they mean not the people but the "criminal gangs" that have the most shares in the so-called democratic governments. The policy towards Russia last 200 years or somewhat like it was always hostile, although throughout these 200 years russians changed their country greatly. At the moment we came to an idea that whatever is Russia our western partners will have to be our enemies just because it is their nature and not ours.
3. NATO is not seeking a war with Russia. All the invaders including Hitler needed an excuse to start war. But not the NATO. If NATO felt like making war with Russia it would have been war already. Putin tells that if we are not strong enough - we will be invaded (he is not as dumb as to blame NATO) and every adult person in the country knows who exactly will invade. We know just because we are not fools.

Mostly speaking of history russians speak of "victories", Cause there were numerous wars with Roman empire, nomads... and mainly every nation from Japan to Sweden across Russian borders had at least once a serious conflict with Russia. We also tell about culture meaning all the great artists and poets that we had in history. We are also proud of scientists and holy people as one thing. The pride of history in Russia is not a pride of one episode - we are proud of it as a whole piece.

 

There is one thing a propaganda will never do - to tell the truth. There is no Heavens in Russia. But Putin is definetely a great leader, which will stay in history. Russians called their Empror Peter "the Great". Because he did a lot for the country although he was not very attentive to common people and even russian traditions. Stalin has almost won the contest of "Russia's best name" recently even after decades of anti-Stalin propaganda starting right after his death. So 60 years was not enough for the country to forget about Stalin's results. Fate of Putin is among these leaders.
And if you look at the image of those leaders abroad you will find that foreigners hate these monarchs or President. At the same time western press likes "Gorby" who is largely hated in Russia. The thing is not that the russians don't have a true information from their state - noone has.
