Oh...and just one other thing....we are well aware of the issues specific to the Syrian Rebels....and that is why the Assad regime was allowed to exist all these years as we KNEW what the issues could be if Assad fell.

But once Assad used Chemical Weapons it was determined...and even the Russian's agreed....that anyone PROVEN to have used Chemical Weapons MUST be made an example regardless of what issues might follow.

Currently....we wait to see just how much of his Chemical Weapons Assad will give up as we KNOW EXACTLY how much he has and where they are.....and as long as he gives up at least 98%....we will let the other 2% go.

But personally I happen to know the way this man thinks and it is unlikely he will give them all up as he will probably try to keep at least 15% of them.

There is only TWO WAY'S of eliminating a Chemical Weapons threat.

    #1....Go in and get them.

#2....Use a very specific Non-Nuclear Fuel Air Explosive that when detonated burns at such a High Temp. that it will vaporize even Steel Tank or Metal Shelled Chemical Weapons.

You could use Nukes but then that would be worse than the Chemical Weapons itself.

Because of #2...Assad has stored his Chemical Weapons in multiple stockpiles within major population centers in Syria.....nice guy huh?

Assad has had chemical weapons for many years and no one cared. We were supporting the rebels long before Assad used chemical weapons.

If we had not been supporting the Rebels Assad probably would not have had to use such weapons.

Don't kid yourself, the US military does not give a hoot about Assad using chemical weapons against the rebels. The use only justified political posturing.

Heck, it was not too long ago when we were supporting Saddam when he was using chemical weapons against his own people and Iran.

Since I happened to have been involved with a few things specific to your post I will comment upon them in a limited fashion.

As far as supporting Iraq...you are right.

This is how it all went down.

The Soviet's for decades supported and sold a lot of Weapons to Saddam and after the Soviet Union fell Saddam being practical went and made overtures to the United States as Iraq was at war with Iran and Saddam KNEW that the very LAST thing the United States wanted was Iran to control Iraq and as well we knew that there exists a VAST number of Shiites in Iraq that held many of the same Extreme Islamic Ideologies as the Iranian Clerics.

So...Saddam along with Tariq Aziz made overtures to the United States and in a few deals I cannot talk about we ended up supplying Iraq with U.S. Satellite Data which allowed the Iraqi Military a vast advantage knowing exactly WHERE these crazy Mass Iranian Troop surge attacks would occur.

Now as far as we were concerned we were only interested in making certain both sides degraded each others Military Capability but at that time the Iranians were just sending in ANYONE as some attacking Iranian's were doing so UNARMED and attacking in a Fanatical Shiite vs. Sunni Islamic Blood Feud manner as such unarmed Iranian's would charge in vast numbers Iraqi Military Positions and as the Iraqi's used up their ammo the tail end of such an attack would be the actual seasoned Iranian Military Forces that could engage low on Ammo Iraqi Forces.

Such massive Iranian attacks prompted Iraq to use Chemical Weapons.

I will admit at the time WE COULD HAVE CARED LESS....as we KNEW what the result would be should Iran win the war and this result would mean an eventual attempt by Iran to capture both Saudi Arabia and Kuwait....two countries that the Islamic Radical Iranian's still to this day hate with a passion due to these countries connections with the United States.

So...we provided the satellite data and this prevented Iran from winning the war.

But in what can only be called a COMPLETE BLUNDER OF EPIC PROPORTIONS BY THE U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT.....our U.S. Ambassador to Iraq... April Glaspie....in a meeting between herself and Iraqi President, Saddam Hussein on July 25, 1990 ...just Eight days before the August 2, 1990 Iraqi Invasion of Kuwait...told Saddam that the ongoing dispute Iraq had with Kuwait was NOT the concern of the United States.

Here is part of the ACTUAL CONVERSATION between the U.S. Ambassador and Saddam.

Saddam Hussein - As you know, for years now I have made every effort to reach a settlement on our dispute with Kuwait. There is to be a meeting in two days; I am prepared to give negotiations only this one more brief chance. (pause) When we (the Iraqis) meet (with the Kuwaitis) and we see there is hope, then nothing will happen. But if we are unable to find a solution, then it will be natural that Iraq will not accept death.

U.S. Ambassador Glaspie - What solutions would be acceptab le?

Saddam Hussein - If we could keep the whole of the Shatt al Arab - our strategic goal in our war with Iran - we will make concessions (to the Kuwaitis). But, if we are forced to choose between keeping half of the Shatt and the whole of Iraq (i.e., in Saddam s view, including Kuwait ) then we will give up all of the Shatt to defend our claims on Kuwait to keep the whole of Iraq in the shape we wish it to be. (pause) What is the United States' opinion on this?

U.S. Ambassador Glaspie - We have no opinion on your Arab - Arab conflicts, such as your dispute with Kuwait. Secretary (of State James) Baker has directed me to emphasize the instruction, first given to Iraq in the 1960's, that the Kuwait issue is not associated with America. (Saddam smiles)

This is a link to the entire Transcript of that meeting for anyone who want's to read what actually happened.

    LINK....http://whatreallyhappened.com/WRHARTICLES/ARTICLE5/april.html

After Soldiers of the U.S. Military captured Tariq Aziz and interrogated him...and I will give you just one guess to just WHO might have been there at the time....Aziz stated during interrogation and remember this was after the United States Military took over Iraq and NOT shortly after Desert Storm....when Aziz was asked WHY Saddam decided to invade Kuwait Aziz replied.....

.....Look....we were not stupid and knew that since there were American Companies who were working with and had interests in and with Kuwait as far as Oil Production and Export was concerned we MADE CERTAIN to first meet and confer and DIRECTLY ASK in essence PERMISSION to resolve the Kuwait issue as Kuwait was using advanced American SLANT DRILLING TECHNOLOGY to drill sideways and into and under IRAQI TERRITORY in order to tap into Iraqi Oil Fields.

Both Saddam and I KNEW that a country does not attempt any Military Operation against any country that has any connection to the United States whether it be by treaty of Private Business Interests as to do so could cause EXACTLY WHAT HAPPENED TO IRAQ and we knew this and THAT is why we basically ASKED FOR PERMISSION FROM THE UNITED STATES TO INVADE KUWAIT....as we did NOT want to be in the cross hairs of the U.S. Military as such a thing is tantamount to suicide.

So we asked and as far as we were concerned the U.S. Ambassador gave us the GREEN LIGHT!

THAT....is what Tariq Aziz stated in interrogation.

In my opinion the U.S. STATE DEPARTMENT at the time was run by a bunch of MORONS and if they had PROPERLY PREPARED U.S. Ambassador to Iraq ...April Glaspie to reply to such a request from Saddam himself...as this was not Glaspie's fault as she was INSTRUCTED to tell Saddam that was the American Position....and if she had been instructed to say....something as simple as..."The United States would view such a method of resolution to your dispute with Kuwait in a negative manner.".....THERE WOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN A WAR OR EVEN A SECOND WAR!!!!

I can't talk about why I am SO P!$$ED OFF about this but I can tell you I saw it coming!!!!!

Now.....after all this CRAP we have members of Al-Qaeda in Sadr City in Iraq and I can tell you this....we are ALREADY working on this and this will be one SERIOUS PAIN IN THE ASS for people like myself who have to CONSTANTLY CLEAN UP THE S#!% caused by IDIOT POLITICIANS.

Actually at the time I wondered if Iraq were set up by G.H. Bush at the time via Ambassador Glaspie so that Saddam would attack Kuwait and then provide that Bush administration an excuse for a profitable little war, guaranteeing Bush's re-election (or so that was the plan) and filling up the personal Bush business interests with an infusion of skimmed cash. But then again I was a cynical Vietnam Era citizen as far as the scams and intentions of U.S. politicians were concerned. It was known however that much of the oil equipment taken actually was partly owned by Bush family interests but that they were mostly old and out of date. Could it all have been simply so that the insurance companies would have to pay the Bushes for their equipment losses? So forth and so on.

Oh how complex possibilities can become when someone as paranoid as I am about the motivation of politicians (Left or Right) comes into play!

I posted a LINK showing how the SM-3 intercepted and directly struck just a SINGLE PART upon a satellite traveling at between 14 and 18,000 mph at ORBITAL DISTANCE.

    Now think about this.

That Hydrazine Tank was in the dead cold of space thus we were able to target without the help of IR-Detection and not just destroy the failing satellite but actually TARGET AND HIT just one single part of a satellite traveling faster than any missile and at such a great distance....by using a few classified methods.

Against the SM-3...never mind the very soon to be operational on all Carriers and Cruisers Free Electron Laser System as this Direct Energy Weapon System is NOT Sci-Fi and will be deployed and operational within 4 years or sooner and we have Land Based FEL's operational NOW....but against the SM-3....along with a great deal of numbered different methods and located tracking and targeting systems that allow our ability to strike any target traveling at any speed in a variety of methods that overcome....Velocity, Distance, Stealth...etc....no Russian Missile, Cruise Missile, Aircraft or other weapon system has any chance of hitting a U.S. Carrier.

Very soon this will also be true for any attempted Enemy Submarine as in Discover Magazine it was detailed that a small diameter Free Electron Laser Beam powered by Dual A1B Nuclear Reactors...with another power application is CAPABLE OF BURNING A 1 CENTIMETER IN DIAMETER HOLE THROUGH 1000 FEET OF SOLID STEEL IN LESS THAN 1 MINUTE.

Thus a properly powered FEL is also capable of targeting and destroying any Enemy Submarine or incoming Torpedo existing AT ANY OCEAN DEPTH.

If you think I am some loose cannon that is posting anything that I know you are sorely mistaken.

I am ALLOWED to post about anything that has either been declassified or already exists in the public consciousness and I am allowed to do so as a reward as I am VERY good at what I do and either they allow this or I WALK.

They also know I am a PATRIOT and would NEVER post anything that might ever place our people in harms way.

    I love reading you..

may i ask, maybe you might even be able to tell me why this person told me this ,and their motive in telling me this if it is not true.
He said , and this guy was a Middle eastern, he said that it was Saudi Arabia that indeed used the chemical weapons in Syria, and made it look like Assad.

i've pondered thisÂ…is it viable Â…and if so is it because the Saudis want mass confusion to continue.or something..

I will explain what this guy was talking about.

Syria has a primarily Sunni population but Assad is Alawite...which is a specific sect of Shia or Shiite.

Because of this a very small Minority of Shiites rule a large Majority of Sunni's in Syria.

Sunni Extremists from Saudi Arabia started streaming into Syria to join up with the Syrian Rebels and some are Terrorists and Sunni Islamic Extremists.

Assad went and used Chemical Weapons upon the Rebel Forces and then in an attempt to show it was the Rebels who used Chemical Weapons as Assad was CAUGHT by French and U.S. and even RUSSIAN groups specific to detecting the use of Chemical Weapons....Assad went and had his Special Military Security Forces recruit and pay some Syrian born Sunni's to SELL small non-weaponized amounts of Chemical Agents to these Sunni Extremists coming in from Saudi Arabia.

Assad made certain to have these Sunni Extremists immediately caught with the Cheical Agents HE SOLD TO THEM and it was an OBVIOUS SET UP as Assad had the media right there along with his Military Forces when these Extremists were caught.

THAT is the story and facts.

makes sense. thanks…i can see this…it's viable ...with everything we as the ordinary shrub grapples with, dribs and drabs from the media, and the odd word said in our ear…it's hard to know the truth.
I guess this guy took the Saudi angle and ran with it...

may I ask you another question that plagues me.

It appears and i have tons of Iraqi customers and a few in my neighbourhood, i live in toronto and it's mid east Asian central…lol…so i talk to a lot of Iraqis and other from around the world.

i might have asks you this already..sorry if it is a repeat. others here have ridiculed my statements on Iraqi's

Every, and i mean every Iraqi i ever talked to that was Christian , mostly Catholic, said Saddam protected Christians and used them for his food tasters and armed guards as he slept…i periodically meet a nephew of one of these guys…

they all say Saddam protected Christians and that life for a Chritian in Iraq used to be safe and beautiful and prosperous.

The same seems to hold true for the Assad regime…he seems to be the only one that actually protects Christians from the Islamist extremists and the every day Muslim bigot…now i am not claiming that all muslims are bigots…so anyone reading this do not go there….

but there is an issue like in Egypt where Christians are persecuted…some nightmare stuff happens to christians in Egypt…also the Egyptian guy..Mubarek, egyptian Chistians say he protected christians..

so…why is the west specifically the power the USA helping to rid the mid east of the last bastion of guys who protect Christians….don't tell me i'm wrong in my claims…
    it's factual….i want to know why…it plagues me…
i ask you and feel you might surprise me.

In a way you have answered your own question without knowing it.

Why indeed would Saddam or Assad have protected or is protecting Christians?

Now think about this....both Assad and Saddam are and was two ruthless and educated Middle Eastern Leaders....of Islamic Nations.

BOTH...understand and understood that any leader of any country in the world that want's to get away with being a DICTATOR FOR LIFE must have an ANGLE that allows them to stay in power as they know and knew that there is just so far they could go and would be allowed to go as far as walking such a razors edge while the United States is watching.

The United States allowed Saddam to exist because of Iran....as without Saddam in control of Iraq...Iran would have turned Iraq into a Extremist Islamic Fundamentalist State....as there are MANY Shiites in Iraq and the Bloody History of where and how Muslim's split into Sunni's and Shiite's occurred in Iraq....and here is the history of the divide into the Shi'a and Sunni.

And this is how this DIVIDE is specific to Iraq and Iran.

Even with the intense international focus on Iran, its nuclear weapons program, support for jihad and Sharia, and horrific human rights abuses, there is relatively little attention paid to the ideology that infuses the mullahs' regime with such hostility. That ideology is firmly rooted in both historical Shi'a Islam and the deep personal antagonism of the late Iranian Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ruhollah Khomeini towards Jews, non-Muslims, and all things secular and Western.

Ayatollah Khomeini's seminal doctrine on Islamic governance, velayat-e faqih, described his vision of a just society ruled by a Shi'a jurist in strict adherence to Islamic law, or Sharia. The model for such a 'perfect' society exists forever in the minds of both Shi'a and Sunni Muslims as the idealized community of Islam's early years, when the Muslim prophet Muhammad and his immediate successors ruled as the political and theocratic supreme authority. As Supreme Leader of Iran, Khomeini cast himself in the role of modern-day successor to the Twelve Imams whom the Shi'a believe inherited the mantle of leadership directly from Muhammad, solidifying the Supreme Leader of Iran's role as ruler of today's world Shi'ite community, and the Islamic Republic's position as the modern Shi'ite state.

    Origins of the Divide

Shi'ite Muslim belief in the specific identity of the Mahdi as the Twelfth Imam provides a good marker for the dividing line that separates Islam's two major sects: the Shi'a and the Sunni. That division is the oldest and deepest split in the history of Islam and dates to the reported disagreement over who would succeed Muhammad upon his death in 632 CE. According to Islamic tradition, when Muhammad departed the scene, he left behind a community of believers poised to complete the military conquest of the Arabian Peninsula and spread the new creed by rape, pillage, and slaughter across large swathes of the known world. What Muhammad apparently did not leave behind was a son. Islamic scholars point to the Quran for the explanation of why there could not be a direct male heir: "Muhammad is not the father of any male among you, but he is the messenger of God and the seal of the prophets; and God is aware of all things" (33:40).

While apparently solving one problem, though, the Islamic decision to depict Muhammad as without a son led directly to intractable internecine warfare over who then should be named his successor. In the decades following Muhammad's death, those closest to him disagreed violently over this question. The family of his daughter Fatima (who married Muhammad's cousin, Ali, and produced two sons, Hassan and Hussein) asserted a spiritual right of the bloodline, calling themselves the ahl al-bayt (or people of the house—of Muhammad). But others among the close Companions argued for Abu Bakr, who was chosen instead as Caliph by the majority who saw succession as a political issue. Those who supported Abu Bakr came to be known as "Sunni," meaning "those who follow the Sunnah" (what Muhammad was recorded as having done or said during his life). Those who supported Ali came to be known as "Shi'a," which is a contraction of the phrase "Shiat Ali," meaning partisans of Ali. By the 21st century, Sunnis comprised some 85 percent of the world's 1.57 billion or so Muslims, while Shi'ites largely made up the remaining 15 percent.

Ali was passed over two more times, as the position of Caliph went from Abu Bakr (632-634), to Umar (634-644), and then Uthman (644-656). Finally, when Caliph Uthman was murdered in 656, Ali became the fourth of what Sunni and Shi'a alike call "The Four Rightly Guided Caliphs." Aisha, Muhammad's widow, opposed Ali's appointment as Caliph and accused him of complicity in Uthman's killing; she even raised an army against Ali, but was defeated at the Battle of Basra in 656, after which she apologized to Ali and withdrew from public life. This didn't end the strife, however, as Caliph Uthman's cousin and governor of Damascus, Mu'awiya, refused to recognize Ali as Caliph until Uthman's killers had been brought to justice. Ali ultimately sought a compromise with Mu'awiya, which so outraged some of his own supporters that one of them assassinated him in 661. Mu'awiya became Caliph and Ali's older son, Hassan, died within a year (perhaps by poisoning). When Mu'awiya himself died in 680, his son Yazid seized control of the Caliphate and Ali's younger son, Hussein, led an army against him. Hopelessly outnumbered, however, Hussein was defeated and killed at the Battle of Karbala (in today's Iraq) in 680. Hussein's infant son, Ali, survived, however, to continue the bloodline of the ahl al-bayt.

ANYWAYS....in Syria....Assad is an ALAWITE....which is a specific Shiite sect and Alawite's and all other Shiite's in Syria exist as a MINORITY....as ALAWITE'S are the RULING CLASS IN SYRIA and exist as ONLY 20% of the total population where as their are 12% Christian's and the rest of the Syrian Population are basically SUNNI.

So this mean's ASSAD'S 20% ALAWITE SHI'A rule the other 80% of the Syrian Population and the ASSAD REGIME IS A DICTATORSHIP!!! Any elections are RIGGED and only those Assad want's to win are allowed to run for other political offices..."NO ASSAD'S POSITION!"....LOL!!! And even the LOSERS are pre-selected by Assad.

So BECAUSE of this and because of the constant concerns specific to Israel a U.S. ally...ASSAD KNOWS....there is only so far he can go as to go any further would mean to risk his own NECK.

So what does Assad do? Assad makes certain SYRIAN CHRISTIAN'S are protected and this fact is NEVER NOT talked about when any concerns of how oppressive and bloody the Assad regime is....as people will say..."HEY! Assad is a dictator and has stolen BILLION'S of DOLLARS from the U.N. run OIL FOR AID program which Assad has stolen from both Lebanon when he basically RULED Lebanon when his Father run Syria and as well Assad has stolen BILLIONS directly from the Syrian People.

So whenever such points are brought up about Assad we will always here..."But at least Assad protects Christian's and allows greater freedom from Islamic Extremist Values for Syrian Women."

Assad and Saddam might have played the..."GOOD LITTLE FAITHFUL MUSLIM"....when they are on TV as they might be on their hands and knees facing Mecca as this is simply a PLOY and is done for the consumption of the Islamic Masses...but in reality both could have and do not care any less about Religion as they are all about the accumulation of WEALTH AND POWER.

Because of what I sometimes do and the JOBS I might go on and have gone on I am aware of the difference between any Syrian, Iraqi, Saudi Arabian, Iranian....etc....LEADER who play's GOOD LITTLE MUSLIM on TV but in PRIVATE makes a Backstage Orgy of Naked Women and Drugs and Booze at a Motley Crue Concert as Tommy Lee unleashes the Python and video tapes the entire Orgy with his hand held Digital Video Camera look Amateuristic and TAME in comparison to the VAST AND OVERWHELMING ORGY'S OF SEX, DRUGS, BOOZE, BLOOD, TORTURE, WOMEN, YOUNG GIRLS WHO ARE JUST CHILDREN AND EVEN YOUNG BOYS....as such Orgy's are FILMED using Hollywood Motion Picture Quality Production and Directing....so these SICK F@#%$ can watch and re-watch themselves OVER AND OVER AGAIN as they do everything from Anal Rape of a Young Boy to a Brutal Forced Rape and Torture till DEATH of a Young Girl.

But...as sick as such things are....as long as Assad and Saddam protected their Christian Population....Protected Women's Rights and in Saddam's case...as long as Iraq helped keep Radical Islamic Iran at bay....we left them alone.

UNTIL.....because of a HUGE U.S. State Department screw up....we Invaded Iraq twice....Hung Saddam....and UNTIL Assad used Chemical Weapons...we left him alone as well but as I have stated IF Assad does not give up at the VERY LEAST 95% to 98% of ALL his Chemical Weapons....we WILL have to remove Assad.

I've asked you two questions now that were explained to me by you with incredible lucidity that i can understand.
The question of the Saudi's being the ones who used the chemical weapons was by one person whom i can't remember …i am very easy to approach and talk to, and sometimes a customer wants me to know "things"….The Christian question has been posed to me in some form or other over and over…

You have not only cleared these nagging questions but explained it very clearly and I think it's most obviously two very educated pieces …You really do have handle on this stuff.

Your knowledge has helped me and changed my thinking on so many matters.

It is a common worry for thinking people , not necessarily correct in their thinking or views, about our governments ability to understand what is going on..

I fear terrorists in the sense i know it's a real challenge to thwart.
Canada is producing an amazing amount of homegrown Islamists who are now dying in Syria.

Kids whose families are not muslim become Islamists and join terrorist groups

    Thank You.

That is very kind of both you and your wife to say.

Unfortunately I have a great deal of knowledge and experience in such topics and I ABSOLUTELY HATE going to this area of the world unless I am visiting my friend...King Abdullah II of Jordan as he went to school in Massachusetts very close to where I grew up.

I TIRE of both having to go there and as well I tire of hearing the endless diatribes about the American's did this and the American's did that!!!

If such people could be placed in my position doing a...JOB...for ONE DAY....they would understand what the realities are as there are some very brutal and vicious F#@%$ out there in the world....and it is the JOB of my Team and I to limit their ability to do harm.
