The absolutely LAST thing the Israeli's want is for Syria to be come a divided nation.

Right now the way things work is that groups such as Hezbollah, Hamas and Islamic Jihad who all have storefront offices in downtown Damascus might hate Israel and all might have their own agendas and run their own operations but NOT ONE OF THESE GROUPS will ever attempt any operation that they think might really P!$$ OFF the United States....as to do so would mean several adverse undesired things would happen to these groups and U.S. Aid to Palestinian's.

As I have posted several times now I have had to go to this area to the world to act as a FREAKIN' BABYSITTER as contrary to what some people might believe Palestinian Reps. of these Groups meet with Israeli's and WE have to play ref.

The ONE CONSTANT through such lower level meetings is this....THEY DRIVE ME NUTS!....and....They ALWAYS....run any plan by us to MAKE CERTAIN any initiative does not P!$$ US OFF!

All parties KNOW...if the United States was pushed to far we could EASILY end the ability of all groups on all sides to operate, receive funds and aid....to defend themselves or to make trouble or war.

The basic players are Syria, Iran, Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Iranian Qud's Force and Lebanese Groups with affiliated interests.....and on the other side there is Israel, U.S. Jordan, Palestine, Hezbollah, Hamas and members of the Arab League.

YES...THAT'S RIGHT....some groups PLAY BOTH SIDES!!!

Now the United States will not allow Syria to fragment and if necessary will will intervene.

Unless Al-Qaeda has an AIR FORCE....I don't think this Syrian is targeting Al-Qaeda as this appears to be a Soviet Era AAA Cannon. LOL!!!

That means it is a type of gun used to bring down Aircraft.

Not a very effective one either....it is old....is NOT Radar Guided....only has One Barrel....and see that tiny scope he is using as a sight?

Some of these weapons were modified to be used against GROUND TARGETS and that would be fine and all but LOOK at the angle this weapon is aimed....UP....and look at the very narrow swing angles it can obtain.

Look....Syrian Girl....I know you are proud to be Syrian but when you post stuff like this....well...it just makes you look silly.

Oh....and by the way this AAA is mounted on what we call a TECHNICAL....ie....PIECE OF CRAP CIVILIAN PICKUP TRUCK! LOL!!!

The ONLY aircraft a weapon like this could destroy is one that is sitting without a pilot on the tarmac!!

If members look at the hollow steel tubes surrounding this weapon that have been welded to the bed of this pickup truck....you will notice that this weapon cannot tilt down to any degree that would make it effective against a GROUND FORCE as not only does the pickup trucks cab roof and the surrounding metal tubes prevent the weapon from being angled down to any degree necessary to shoot at anything other than an aircraft or perhaps the 6th floor of a building.....but it would appear that this weapon cannot be swiveled to the left or to the right....and even if it can which I highly doubt....it could only swivel approx. 19 degrees left or right as anything more than a 19 degree swivel would force a person aiming such a weapon to have to stand ON A LADDER ON THE LEFT OR RIGHT SIDE OF THE PICKUP TRUCK.....as there is no place to stand on the pickups bed.
