Just breaking on the major news outlets.

    http://www.baltimoresun.com/news/ma...d-ci-freddie-gray-autopsy-20150623-story.html

Looks like the major injury was caused by a quick de-acceleration. The DA is most likely going to reduce her charge against the officers with manslaughter.

Now, it was still deemed a homicide by the autopsy doctors because he is saying the police officers were negligent in failing to keep Gray safe ! There is also a claim of that the officers did "omit" certain info - but that's pending.

My take - good to know the cops will be vindicated of intentional homicide. Nothing justifies the riots by the domestic thug terrorirts, and nothing justifies the cop hate.

no one ever said they killed him, just they did not get him help..... which led to his death

I would be happy with involuntary manslaughter as I do not think it was intentional

I do wonder why they did not report that one stop though, sounds like they may of knew they missed up and tried to cover it up

when I was a kid, cops called an ambulance to check me out when I ran into their cop car with my bicycle :) ( embarrassing I know ) I told them I was fine, normally cops play it safe and call for an ambulance if it looks like a person may be or could be injured

How is that an accident when you don't properly secure a prisoner in a vehicle and then slam on breaks?

He was killed after they slammed on the brakes. doesn't exonerate the police at all.

if they took Gray on one of these supposed "nickle drives," then I am all for these officers involved being charged with his murder. I think it was negligent and I'm not against the cops spending some prison time. But not for a charge that high.

If they took him on a "nickel drive" then how would it be an accident?

and that doesn't constitute a 2nd degree murder charge that one officer received
the self serving politically motivated rookie state’s attorney Marilyn Mosby over charged
and hell will break loose when the officer gets acquitted because of her incompetence
this is why she tried to get a court order to stop the release of the autopsy because she knows it will show she over charged

and you have proof they slammed on the breaks and for the reason to cause injury they could have slammed on the breaks if they did at all to avoid hitting someone or vehicle
this is what we are talking about with you guys you have already made up your mind of guilt and making crap up to justify your predetermined guilt with no evidence at all to back that crap up

Yeah, just throw the garbage in the back of the van all trussed up and let's not give a (*)(*)(*)(*).
But no worries, the murdering cops are off the hook and the focus has moved on to the right-wing racist who massacred a church-full of blacks.

I said this does not exonerate the police. I never said it proves they did it on purpose.

you start low and work your way up if new evidence is gathered to justify an increased charge
you don't start high especially when you have a Mob taking the chance they start rioting and looting again when you are forced lower the charges

Yet they always start high in the hope to secure plea bargains. Makes their job easier.

not when you have an angry mob
you give a charge you know you have the best chance for a conviction because an acquittal would be worse then a conviction of a lower charge

Oh, oh, there are hundreds of black victims who get shot every day in Chicago, Detroit, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Atlanta, New York City, Memphis, St. Louis, Los Angeles, etc, but doggone it they're shot by other blacks and can't be used for racist political purposes. Damn it.

You know you are absolutely right. Everyone has forgotten Baltimore now. They will forget Charleston as soon as the next big sensational story breaks.

I never wear a seat belt and slam the breaks on all the time, yet here I am. In all honesty, you guys make it sound like Gray couldn't survive a day at Disney Land.

And while it looks like hands/leg restrainment might not have been proper containment, it was indeed containment. In other words, theoretically speaking if Freddie Grey had stayed in an acceptable posiiton, he might've lived. This brings to mind the testimony of the inmate who rode with him, who said he was thrashing about.

What we got from the release is of course not complete, but if it details any wounds that could possibly be self-inflicted, then ms.Mosby's going to be owned so hard in Court.

haha!!! this is how they beat the (*)(*)(*)(*) out of people in Baltimore.

they lock them in the back of a van, handcuffed with no seatbelt on.

they then drive around, breaking very hard, accelerating very hard, and turning wildly.

guy goes in conscious and unbruised, comes out unconscious and all bruised up and bleeding.

yeah,,,but you're sitting in a seat, not in the back of a steel van

The autopsy suggested that Gray was killed from a deceleration high-energy blow. Murder will be hard to prove even if the cops intentionally killed him with a nickel ride (it happened before in Baltimore). The best the prosecution will likely get is manslaughter.
