The WTC Towers were steel frame buildings with 48 core columns with a base column 54 inches wide x 22 inches deep and 5 inches thick and 36 inches wide by 16 deep and 2 inches thick in the upper stories. Steel melts at 2600° F. Jet fuel burns at 410 degrees F An airplane crash and the resultant one hour office fires could not have severed 48 - 2 inch thick steel columns let alone 5 inches thick steel at the base.
