Books are not being banned. They are only being moved in order to be available in an age appropriate setting.

A real test of religious tolerance would be an acceptance of a book entitled “Killing Muhammad”. Apparently he was poisoned after torturing and beheading a Jewish leader a few years earlier. He died in 632 AD.

Really? Who are these book banners? Is this for elementary school or high school libraries? What are the scenes that are considered pornographic?

But you know it's porn. How do you know that if you've not read it?

Well that book is never going to be published.

Sadly no. But O’Reilly and Dugard would do a fascinating job of telling the history leading up to that event and following to present times.

Escambia County school district. And If I understand they havent been banned yet and have instead been temporarily pulled for review.
First guess would be that they are purposely doing this in an attempt to portray the Florida law as unreasonable. NOTHING in Florida law would "ban" a dictionary that describes sexual intercourse between a penis and vagina.

There are no book banners. There are people though who want certain books made available to students on an age appropriate basis. There’s nothing sinister about that.

Of course, this is all a show because the schools can't show pornography to children anymore and leftists are mad about it.

The book banners are the ones who passed the book banning laws: Florida Republicans. And they provided no actual guidelines. They are the reasons that O'Reilly's books and the Bible are both being banned. Where have you been?

Lots of books criticizing Islam have been published. Should they be banned from school libraries?

Why would you want to do that?

I don't. I'm fine with having those books around.

He's fuming because the law is being abused and he's right. The law is being abused and the school administrators that are abusing the law should be fired.

This is across all public secondary schools in Florida, from what I can tell. Part of the problem is that they provided no actual guidelines, so thousands of books have been banned. Just as an example: the Bible has been banned from libraries for sexually explicit verses.

There are no book bans. Books are being moved to places where they are age appropriate.

Why do you guys keep saying books have been banned? They’ve just been moved to places where they are age appropriate. If you have a young child and you want him or her to read one of these books, you’re free to do that as the book isn’t banned.

I've worked at a library before. Removing books from the collection did not consist of just "moving them to places where they are age appropriate."

If you are saying that the schools are “banning” these books, you’re lying. Placing them in sections where they are age appropriate is not a ban
