That's an interesting out but...I'll allow it.

OK I'll put you down in favor of the banning.

    Thanks for your cooperation.

So do you think O'Reilly has a case or should his book be removed?

If it was removed from elementary school libraries, no he doesn't have a case. If it was removed from high school level, yes he does. What about you?

Florida law does not dictate whether it can be restricted only for certain ages. It was championed when it was signed.

Now, there are complaints because the broad bans can go both ways. Theblaw will likely be updated because people were unaware the "right" books could also be removed under the same law.

Have I made any comment which even hints that I think they should? If you think I have, you need to review my comments.

School districts are supposed to set their own guidelines...this isn't hard. Here is the one from Pinellas County:

    https://www.pcsb.org/cms/lib/FL01903687/Centricity/Domain/168/Controversial-flyer.pdf

So when School Districts want to get rid of what were previously non controversial books, it's pretty obvious this is a form of protest because they didn't want to get rid of the porn for kids.

Why is that so important to you?

I showed you a snippet of sex in O'reilly's book. It's easy to see why some parents would think it's controversial. No one had an issue with schools setting their own guidelines until the "right" book got banned. That's the issue. Did O'Reilly speak up about the dictionary being removed?

I've no idea if O'Reilly complained about the dictionary.

He should advertise the fact that the books are being banned and make it a marketing tool. That would more than replace any lost sales.
