Really? Because her ID says "Certified non-Prostitute" on it? I'm sorry, a black woman kissing a white man does not amount to probable cause (or even reasonable suspicion) of prostitution. And even if she WAS a pros, she probably still would have an ID. Sorry, unless I'm driving or carrying a concealed weapon, any random request to see my ID will be met with a "Eh, no habla."

I can think of one more difference right off the bat, and I wasn't even there. (hint: it has to do with the word you put in quotes)

Are you implying the asshat cop is sexist?

Wrong. You really should read through a thread before posting to it. The cops were responding to a complaint, and because this couple WAS the one that was reported on, they matched the description the cops were looking for. In other words, it was not random at all, but cops responding to a call.

The complaint was more then "kissing" i suggest you read the CNN article linked instead of the propaganda site Rawstory.

Its the speed she contacted not one not two but three lawyers and the ACLU + NACCP... Does she have them on speed dial?

    Again...

An LAPD spokesman told CNN Sunday that officers from its North Hollywood precinct were responding to a citizen complaint.

"There was an indication on the radio call that a male white and female black were involved in a sexual act inside a Mercedes with the vehicle door open," Officer Sally Madera said.

More then kissing... Perhaps read an actual news site next time.

The one and only point that I was making is that the OP was dead wrong in saying that the only difference between a black woman and a white man is race.

I dont think he meant it like that. Hes got a point. Why didnt the cop ask the man for his ID?

I don't know. I wasn't there. Neither were you, and neither was the OP. Hell, I don't know that they didn't ask him for ID. Maybe he was smart and produced it, so it didn't become part of the story. But armed with one side of that story, the OP is ready to make a judgment (while conveniently failing to mention that the cops were responding to a call about those two).

Dont perhaps me. Fyi...i didnt read the rawstory link either. Is being condescending your usual routine?

So she called them? Its a free country. Id cover all my bases too if it was me. Whats wrong with that? Im sure they can help advise her on what her options are.

Ok...since when is it illegal to "make out" with your SO?

Arent you pubs the ones that want less interference from authorities in our lives?

Why would one contact the NAACP if you felt you were falsely detained after you have already retained a lawyer? To make it a racial issue, that's why/ To roil up the race baiters out there.

"Lucas said when an officer asked for their identifications, he showed his that but Watts refused "to give it because they had no right to do so.""

Its all in the CNN article....

Some people thrive on making sure race is the foremost issue in everything.

I think the boyfriend would have posted it on his facebook page if they had asked him for it.

Going with that.....are you ok with them singling out his girlfriend?

Doesn't really matter if you agree, what this shows is that there was a difference between the two beyond race or gender: one produced ID, the other did not. Thus making the race card unplayable. Popped your bubble, huh? Sorry, you are not a winner, thanks for playing.

The race card. Im sick to death of that phrase. Why do yall get so buggered when someone calls the naacp? Isnt that what they are for? I guess yall hope they will sit and collect dust.

Playing? Are you lost? This isnt a gaming forum.

If you're sick of the race card phrase, then perhaps you shouldn't be so quick to attribute everything to race. And yes, I hope the NAACP does collect dust. Racist organizations like that should be dismantled and forgotten.

They had a citizen complaint they were responding to. That is probable cause as they suspected a crime might be being commited.. They didnt just drive by and see people kissing and put her in hand cuffs. I provided a CNN article that goes over this but you seem to not want to acknowledge what happened and for some reason seem bound to what that crap site rawstory spewed.. Perhaps an agenda you are defending hmmm?

Whatever. Did the couple know someone complained? Did. The. Cop. Explain. Why. They. Asked?
