    Now what? The ball is in Russia's court. What will they do? Throw a few rockets at the American/ Iranian force now operating in Eastern Syria? Escalate? Deescalate? Ignore it? How many people still thing trump is Putin's stooge? How much if any did that perception have to do with the missile attacks on Syrian chem weapons capacity.

    I think probably not. I think Trump and Company are doing some witchcraft of their own, and Assad is a sacrificial lamb. Like a true entrepreneur, he has taken an obstacle and turned it into an opportunity. The path to solving domestic problems is now clearer. Let's keep our fingers crossed.
